Hello all,
I would just like to thank you all for giving my first OS so much love and appreciation. So I have penned down another OS which is sort of a continuation of that. I really hope you all like it and please do give your honest feedback. š³ So here goes...
OS-Our Shooting Star
He was feeling impatient. He was walking around in his room wondering how he will approach her. After all that happened in the bathroom yesterday the way he shared his feelings. He didnt know whether to act normal or keep on the back foot. Was he just over thinking? "Oh god Miss Bose...when I fell in love with you for the first time you made me feel restless and even now...I can't remain peacefully"
"Papa...papa!" Suhana came running in to see her dad and show him her new painting. "Look papa how is my painting...it's of you, me and mama" Dev knelt down and smiled at her. He looked towards her painting and a glow was shining in his eyes. "It is beautiful just like you" he cupped her cheek. "Thank you Papa" Suhana was about to run out of the room and Dev stopped her. "Suhana...come here princess!" she approached him and smiled.
"What's up Papa?" she waited for his question.
"Do you know where your mama is?" he asked hesitantly. She replied "In her room. She is completing some project work so told me not to disturb her. She will be working on it for a few hours" Dev replied. "Okay thank you Suhana you go and play now" she ran out of the room and Dev thinks this is the best time to distract her attention towards him.
Dev kept thinking away but no action. The time was passing towards midnight and he was still in his room. With a small sigh he sorted his hair in the mirror and smiled. "Yes you look perfect Mr Dixit" he walked down the hallway towards her room and saw the door was slightly open. He peeked through the door and saw her at her desk working away. "She is a complete scholar, always focused and dedicated. She isnt even thinking about me. Didn't even think to ask about me today. What type of wif...lover is she?"
Dev tried to control himself but couldnt stop admiring his love typing away. "Yaar today she has worn those glasses" he was in awe of her hotness. He closed his eyes but then decided to barge in. She was shocked to see him entering her room unexpectedly. He locked the room as he entered to indicate that he wanted her all for himself. He turned around to see her watching him "Dev what are you doing here? What if someone will see us together?" he smiled and approached her quickly.
"Shuushh" he covered her mouth and kissed her mentally. The moment he looked at her eyes he fell into his own world. His mind was going in different directions from kissing her soft luscious lips to something extremely naughty. "Oi Mr Obhodro what is wrong with you?" she pushed him away. "Miss Bose you can't push me away like that. I love you and you are mine" he reiterated that she was only his. She couldnt be away from him anymore.
"Tumhi ekdum impossible...I am not in a romantic mood Dev. Please leave me alone and Soha is at home today we can't do anything that you are thinking about" Sonakshi replied rapidly. Dev smirked and moved towards her direction "So you were thinking about it too..." he winked and she looked like a deer caught in red lights. Completely red handed. She composed herself "Dev dont try and twist things...I just want to...I just want to do my work and look after my daughter. That's it now leave me alone"
Dev laughed "Baby you dont have to lie to me. I love you and I want this just as much as you do. We can't run away from our feelings. We have to stand together and face them" Sonakshi turned around trying not to meet his eyes. "Miss Bose!" his husky voice was calling her and she wanted to be in his arms but she didnt know what to do.
She stood there on the spot fiddling her hands. She couldnt control her feelings. She turned around and ran into his arms. He was shocked by her reply but then an instant smile fell on his lips. "So you finally fell into your hero's arms" she punched his stomach. "Dev...its not that. Its just I am scared at the thought of losing you again so I dont want to restart everything" he shook his head and made her sit down. "Sonakshi you know we have lost a lot in life but happiness is finally at our doorstep and we should embrace that" he kissed her forehead. She hugged him whilst they sat on the bed and felt secure after so long.
She moved to the balcony and admired the stars and moon. Dev smiled looking at his pagal wife. "Dev you know for 7 years every passing night I watched the stars in the sky replaying everything that happened between us. Our first meeting, to your confession, our wedding and our..." tears were streaming down her face and her mind was running those horrible moments again. Dev came over and turned her around. She couldnt meet eyes with him and he pulled her chin up towards him. "Sonakshi looks towards me" she just couldnt and he physically made her.
Her eyes were filled with tears. "Sona didnt I tell you that these tears are precious to me I have taken lot of these in the past and they must stop now" he wiped her tears completely and kissed her eyes. "I only want happiness brimming from these eyes now" she nodded. She was still looking a little down and Dev decided to make her smile.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his head on her shoulders. "Dev leave me na? I want to be on my own" Sonakshi tried to hide her feelings by sending him away. "I am not going anywhere...tonight we are going to spend time with each other and watch this beautiful sky" he wrapped himself around her and made her look up at the stars.
"Sonakshi the whole sky is smiling upon us tonight. Seeing us together and happy" she nodded and agreed. He gently moved her hair to the opposite side and kissed her neck. He wanted to make her feel so special. Get her the moon and stars and make her life filled with happiness.
As they watched the sky, a shooting star passed through bringing hope and positivity. "Look Dev a shooting star, let's ask for a wish"
Dev wished in his mind "Please give my Sona all of the happiness in the world. Please give me the chance to love her again"
Sona wished in her mind "Please give my Dev everything he wants in life. Please bring me back into his life so I can love him again"
They asked for the same thing but it was unknown to each other. As they smiled looking towards the moon they wished this beautiful night would change their lives forever. Dev sat down on a chair with Sona wrapped up on his lap as they fell asleep in each other's arms after 7 years.
Thought I would finish off with a lovely quote I read the other day...
"When two people really care about each other they always find a way to make it work. No matter how hard it is"
