This show is hopeless - too much torture for female lead

Too much torture for female lead, I am quitting this crappy show where there is no respect shown for female lead, she had been tortured too an extent, people do fight in families but there is a limit of everything. No one tolerates that as its instigating wrong behavior of in- laws, Dev shown as verbally abusive and aggressive husband, who would like their daughter or sister to have a husband like Dev, no one with a bit of respect or common sense.
Watching all this hurts more than it entertains, this show is giving a wrong message that daughter in laws in India have very less value, if you find a logic in that then you will understand, I strongly request the girls here to be strong, educated, work hard, love your Parents and family, like and marry someone who respects you and your family and then only you would be able to respect them.
We should watch good shows that are progressive, fair, bring smiles on our face.

Very true. They had promised a simple love story with lot of character. Initially they showed very progressive but realistic things

After marriage track it all went downhill. Became typical saas bahu saga where girl goes from being strong and independent to a doormat seeking constant approval , with no worth of her own except as a baby making machine

They have moved so far away from the initial premise that I feel I am now watching a completely different show these days. Only saving grace are the fantastic actors, especially the leads. They deserve better
