Yes it is indeed true that SHIVAAY & ANNIKA are different from other 4Lion leads.

What makes Annika real ?

1. She doen't rely on Babaji, Allah miya, Devi maya or Shankarji. When things go wrong, she doesn't go to Mandir and cry. Instead she fights on her own. And what makes Annika's character beautiful is that she does believe in God (we saw that during Ganpati visarjan), but she doesn't leave everything up to God. Yes, she finds her own way out.

What Annika teaches us is that we should believe in God, but we need to solve our problems on our own. Because in the end, God helps those who help themselves.

2. Her dressing style is unique with all those off shoulder tops and blouses. She does't cover her chest with the so call dupatta that other Indian bahus uses. She is comfortable in her own skin. She wears what she likes and no one complains in her sasural. Untill now Indian daily soaps show that only vamps can wear off shoulder blouses and sexy sarees, but Annika is breaking all those stereotypes.

P.s- Even Jhanvi's dressing style is classy.

3. I was wondering how and when Annika fell in love with Shivaay. And when I was pondering over this, I realized that she fell in love the most realistic way. She fell in love just like me or any other normal girl would, Yes, it all started from a mere admiration. She admired how he love his family and brother. Slowly after the misunderstanding got cleared, she was overwhelmed with the care and concern he showed towards her. No one ever cared for her besides her brother Sahil. But now there was this man who was telling her that she is as important as his family and brothers. He was slowly but steadily letting her in his world. And that's how her admiration turned into unconditional love. Isn't it how we fall in love in real life as well.

What makes Shivaay real?

1. He's a complete family man in a realistic way. His brothers call him the Great wall of Shivaay for a reason. He's selfless when it comes to his family (Again usually female leads are shown sacrificing for the family, but we have a man doing all that). All other 4Lion leads loved their family too, but they all were a little too blinded by the love for a particular family member. Asad to his mom and Arnav to his sister. I loved Arnav, but his love and concern for Anjali was way too much. On the other hand, Shivaay loves his siblings, but he slaps them when they do something wrong. He lets his brother find their own way with an assurance that if things go wrong he will be always be there. He doesn't interfered between Rumya, neither he interfered with Om's Bareily trip.

2. He is not an atheist like other angry, young male leads on Indian TV.

3. He is the same Shivaay that he was before the marriage. He was always protective and loving towards his family and he still is. The only difference is that now there are two additions to his family- Annika and Sahil. He's still the same Shivaay Singh Oberio for the rest of the world (including ACP😆).
