Why is Anika not showing her love?

Well this week is been filled with Shivaay showing his love.

As we all know from the beginning of the show that she had lost so many important ppl in her life in the past and Sahil is her family(who is Annika's weakness and Strength) and now Shivaay is also most important part of her life,she doesn't want to loose him,that's why she is very protective about him.

She is being herself after soo long. , He didn't clearly confessed her about love n all, n yes nkk is also the reason, however both were showing love in holi episode but to me that scene looked kind of clichd , it's looking like TAKKAR wala love after soo long

Annika didn't had any relationship before & I think she is kachchi in romantic love. When Shivaay is in danger/or pain, then she shows her feelings that how much he means her. If anything happens to him then she will also die but romantic love/all these feelings are very new to her so she is just going with the flow I think.

NKK is completely gone is what I feel! The way shivaay is behaving after announcing annika as his wife, he wouldn't do it if NKK still existed! But I think it will surface again after some time. Because it has always been the case with Gul's shows. Like after the almost confession or after it is pretty much obvious that the lead pair have realised their love for each other, the hero does or says something which hurts the heroine to the core and she decides to leave him forever, be it Geet, IPKKND, QH. So I feel that it will surface again but it will be not be intentional but just out of anger like some big drama will get unfold and shivaay will be really angry on annika and he will say something about her NKK. But this may or may not happen! I think I am just thinking too much!😆

and I will love if she leaves after that , and then Shivaye will realize what he has lost and then he will bring her back. Sounds dreamy to me.

What he's asking for, she's still too naive to fully understand. So, she's scared. Anyone would be when they're stepping into something that is, for them, unchartered territory.

Completely agree with you about NKK coming back in full swing. It's their biggest conflict along with the forced wedding no way the writers aren't going to use it later for some huge showdown or separation track. It's perfect TRP material and I think they are still waiting to use these cards.
