The appeal of Ishqbaaz

I used to hate Nakuul when he was doing his 1st show with Pankhuri or someone.. Its not coz of his acting but coz of his appearance.. I mean he looked like a small brother of pankhuri.. (I still hate that actress👎🏼, who was the female lead in his 1st show and i don't know her real name)

I was just flipping channels and came across this serial during the time when Surbhi jyoti(Malika ) entered the show...Shivika didnt attract me first...for me it was Obros bonding and love. Then I fell in love with every character 😃 and watched from 1st episode..

Actually I used to watch begusarai at 10pm slot.When i got to know that show is going to end by 24th june, i was very worried becoz it was the only i used to watch earlier.So i was flipping channels nd saw the first promo.Omkara's look impressed me a lot nd I didnt even recognise nakuul that he was adi in pkdh.After seeing such handsome male leads, i couldnt stop myself from watching the show.And I also started watching becoz its gul khan show.After watching first episode,I loved it nd i felt surbhi looked older to nakuul.But no issues regarding her acting.As the days r i liked even more nd all characters also. And special mention to the comical content.

I didn't like Nakuul at first at all I didn't find him attractive during his "Pyaar Ka Dard" days I only thought he have nice eyes that's all. My mom watches all SP shows so I saw bits and peaces of Pyaar Ka Dard I found Nakuul girly looking back then and call it a stupid show with stupid looking actors ( Forgive me people who are fans of Nakuul since Pyaar ka Dard days, I was a teenager then)

but when I saw his entry in Ishqbaaaz I was like damn he looks hot. Is that the same guy from Pyaar ka Dard hai? He is looking so good here.

I didn't like Surbhi at first at all either I found her unfit for the character and thought she was average in both looks and acting but after awhile she improve alot in both looks and acting. I really underestimate her at first she's perfect as Anika.

Shivika I started to like during the scene when Anika faint in Shivaay arms. The way he rest her on the bed and put the pillow under her head was such a tender scene even though he hated her then he was caring. After that scene I became a crazy Shivika fan.

Gul have good eyes she knew what she was thinking when she cast these two as Shivaay and Anika.

Actually I was not interested in this serial when I saw the promo for the first time...then I saw obros Facebook live chat for ishqbaaz promotion..the real truth which I am not interested was i had never seen Nakul's previous show and I don't know him as well as kunal and leeneesh...and i really underestimated Surbhi when I saw the first episode...I really thought why gul selected someone better but now I can't imagine someone other than her as Annika and now my favourite actress is Surbhi...I love her to the core and I always regret for thinking she is not a good actress in the initial days...she is really hard working

Wowwwooo...I loved all ones answer...it's a pure bliss to read each ones alag story...even I hated Nakulll...long time back for playing adi...I swear he looked like a son to female lead...no offense guys...the actress is pretty...and Ladka bhi...but they had 0% of chemistry...they didn't even sound like a couple...maybe I guess it was bcoz I was around 14-15 idk...now 19+ so have my opinions on Nakulll have changed...

Because of promo and Gul. She always come up with beautiful plot and pairings. After 150episode she will spoil it. Majorly for obros I start watching this show. Because I am tired of saas bahu drama and their kitchen politics. This show is refreshing from others. Because they promised us this show is about 3brothers and their bondings. But later they failed to keep up their promise... Then I start loving shivika and their takkarbaazi. Anyway now I become a loyal fan of ib and dbo.

Well my mama was the driving force that made me curious. So one night out of curiousity I binged watched the show, and that was it for me. I fell in love from the first episode. Shivaye caught my eye and the relationship between the brothers was amazing as well. I think the show as a whole is pretty great. I have to give it to Gul, I have watched all her shows and all the couples she creates are iconic. But I think personally Shivika are my favourite so far. Shivaye and Anikha love story happened so organically that I think it attract some people to keep watching. Their progression has been amazing and honestly I can relate to and feel a connection to all the characters on the show. 😳
