Madhu wore a pretty pink anarkali and left her hair open, as she usually does. She was in a great mood, as today she was going to meet Radha. She was about to leave her apartment when her phone went off. Seeing Shamsher calling she picked up the call, "Haa Malik, bataiye??"
S- Kaisi hai meri bacchi..
M- Main bilkul theek hoon Malik, aap sab kaise hai??
S- Hum sab theek hai..beta teri iss beech RK se koi baat huyi kya??
M- Woh Malik...huyi to hai , aaj main Maa se, mera matlab hai Radha Maa se milne jaa rahi hoon..
S- (pausing for a moment) Madhu beta, maine humesha teri khushi chahi hai, aur aage bhi humesha wahi chahunga...tujhe isiliye ek salah dena chahunga.. beta zindagi mein saccha pyaar bohot kam logo ko milti hai.. isliye agar tujhe woh pyaar mile to usse thukrana mat.. par kisi pe poori tarah viswas karne se pehle yeh zaroor soch lena ki kya woh viswas ke layak hai bhi, ya nahi..
M- Malik... Aap, aap kya kehna chahte hai, main kuch samjhi nahi...
S- RK, hum sab se milne aaya tha...aur usne kaha ki... woh tujh se pagalon ki tarah pyaar karta hai aur tujhe apni zindagi mein wapas chahta hai..ek pal ke liye mujhe uski baaton pe bharosa nahi hua par uski aankhon mein kuch tha...kuch aisa jisne mujhe sochne pe majboor kar diya..
M- Malik.. mujhe nahi pata aage jakar meri zindagi mein kya hoga...issliye maine sab kuch bhagwan pe chor diya, woh hai to sab theek hi hoga..
S- Aur agar theek na bhi ho to tera baap abhi bhi zinda hai.. teri har mushkil mein tera sahara, teri taqat banne ke liye...
M- I love you Malik..
S- Love you too beta, apna khayal rakhna..
Madhu parked her car and entered the restaurant while searching for her phone in her purse. As she called RK it said switched off. Madhu frowned but entered the restaurant and found Radha sitting at designated table. She flashed her a big smile and went to her, "maa!!"
Radha hugged her with tears in her eyes, "Madhu, beta kaisi hai tu...kitne dil ke baad main tujh se mil rhi hu..."
They talked with each other and caught up on everything. After placing their order, Madhu scanned the area and asked, "Maa...woh... main keh rhi thi ki.."
"RK kahan par hai, hai na??" Radha gave her a knowing smile, "Woh yaha nahi aaya beta, uska kehan tha ki iss 'Saas Bahu' ki date mein woh haddi nahi banna chahta," and laughed.
Though a little disappointed, Madhu chuckled. What tugged at her heart was the mention of 'Saas Bahu'. Does this mean that RK still considered her as his wife. Suddenly a voice spoke at the back of her mind, did he ever stop on that? Because her mention had always been his biwi to him.
After different conversations, Radha suddenly said, "Beta ek baat kahoon?? Main jaanti hoon ki mere bete ne apni zindagi mein bohot saari galtiyan ki hai.. aur main yeh nahi kehti ki tujhe uski saari galtiyan ko apna kar usse maaf kar dena chahiye, par main bas itna kehna chahungi ki woh apne aap ko badal ne ki koshish kar raha hai beta, sirf tere liye.. uske dil ke banjar zameen mein maine pyaar ke ful khilte huye dekhe hai beta, agar usse tera saath mil jaye, tera pyaar mil jaye to banjar zameen se usse bagiya banne mein zyada waqt nahi lagega... meri baaton par gaur zaroor karna..."
The whole night Radha's words played in Madhu's mind. Was RK really making that much of effort? Was he really this serious this time, was it the right time to trust him again with her heart? All these questions made their way to her head.
Finally she called Trishna, "Hello Didu??"
T- Haa glycerine bol kya baat hai??
M- Didu ek baat batao, agar aapko kisi pe trust karna ho par aapka man trust karna na chahta ho aur aapka dil trust karna chahta ho to humein kya karna chahiye??
T- Madhu, teri baatein, they are making no sense, still ek baat kehti hoon, dil ki suno and go with the flow... agar dil kahe ki uspe bharosa karoon to kar hi daalon, dimag ko maaro goli..
M- Thank you so much didu, I love you yaar, tere paas har sawal ka jawab hai..
T- Chal goodnight, kal mujhe jaldi shoot pe jaana hai...aur glycerine??
M- Haan??
T- RK itna bura bhi nahi hai... dil de ke dekh sakti hai tu...goodnight!
Madhu gaped at the phone and blushed. Finally she could have a peaceful sleep.
Deepali scrunched her eyes as she took in what she was seeing. At first she thought she must be still sleeping and this was some dream but a scream from Sikky just confirmed that this was the reality, Madhu indeed came to RK Mansion. Immediately her first thought was to taunt her over her retreat but seeing RK descending the stairs she stopped herself.
RK smiled at Madhu and spoke, "Punctuality at its best, ab chale?"
M- Kaha??
RK- Mere room mein, script reading karni hai ya nahi?
M- Ha par, kya woh yaha living room mein nahi ho skta??
RK- Sorry Madhu, par yaha pe kuch unwanted living beings hai jinhe apne kaam se matlab rakhna nahi aata aur dusro ke kaam ko bigaadna bohot acche se aata hai, isiliye..
Madhu suppressed a chuckle and followed him. As they entered his room memories of their past together came flashing in front of her. For a second she was unable to breath as everything came rushing to her, then a hand on her shoulder stabled her, "I am sorry.."
Madhu looked at RK as he had his head bowed down, "Yeh sab kuch meri hi wajah se to hua hai.."
M- (Cutting him off) RK... jo ho gaya so ho gaya, jo hone ko hai uss pe dhyaan dena sahi hoga.. script reading suru kare?
RK looked at her and gave a faint smile.
The creative team had already arrived and soon Raj too joined them. In their usual way, the script reading went on with RK stealing glances at Madhu every now and then and Madhu trying to focus on the work. As they finished Madhu asked, "So I am in for this project, par mujhe ab tak tum logo ne nahi bataya ki iss film mein mere co star kaun hai?"
Raaj- Iss film mein tumhare saath ek naya hero kaam kar raha hoga Madhu, jiska naam Rishabh Kundra hai..
M- Wait a sec, RK? Ek nayaa hero? Main kuch samjhi nahi??
RK- Raaj ke kehne ka matlab yeh hai ki iss film aur aane wali har film mein ab se mujhe credit superstar RK ke tour par nahi balki Rishabh Kundra ke naam se diya jayega..
M- Par achanak aisa kyun RK?
RK- RK mein badlaav aaya hai, isliye ab woh apne acting career mein bhi thode badlav lana chahta hai.. Pehle jaise tevar ab shayad nahi rahenge, isiliye pehle jaisa naam bhi nahi..
Madhu smiled at him but RK felt something was missing in that smile, what had happened?
The Night before the muhurat party
Madhu sat the window and gazed at the sky, it gave her so much of mental peace. It didn't last long as the doorbell rang. She checked the time and wondered who might be here at this hour. Checking throught the peep hole she was pleasantly surprised to see RK there with a bouqette in his hand. She opened the door with smile, "Kya timing hai tumhari, I appreciate it!"
Rk chuckled nervously, "Am I welcomed in?" Madhu let him in and closed the door, "So, kya main puch sakti hoon, ki raat ke 11 baje tum yaha kya karne aaye ho?"
RK- Ofcourse tum puch sakti ho, ismein permission lene wali kaun si baat hai?
M- (in a warning tone) RK...
RK (putting up his hands in a defensive manner) Okay okay, main to bas tumhare saath kuch moments spend karne aaya tha...woh kya hai na last kuch din tumse thik thak baatein nahi kar paya, iss film ki production ke wajah se bohot busy tha na issliye...but now I am here to grace this beautiful lady with my sublime presence.
Madhu chuckled softly, "Beautiful lady is wearing a night suit for god's sake!"
"Doesn't matter," RK sayd setting up the dining table, "Please tell me tumne abhi tak dinner nahi kiya?"
M- No...
RK- Good, kyunki maine bhi nahi kiya aur ab hum saath mein dinner karenge..
M- So... Shall I consider this as our first official date??
RK gave her a mischeivious smile, "Yes you can my love!"
They had the dinner quietly as many thoughts kept crossing Madhu's mind. RK wanted to ask her what was she thinking so much but then he didn't because he didn't want to push her. Even her silence was so comforting to him. As they finished the dinner Madhu went to keep the dishes while RK turned on the radio. Madhu frowned at him, "Ab kya??"
RK- Come on Madhu, koi date ek romantic dance ke bina thode hi pura hota hai? Main hero, tum heroine, background music to banta hai!
M- (laughing) For God's sake RK maine nightsuit pehen rakha hai??
RK- Oh Chalo bhi..
He pulled her towards him as the song started to play. Taking her right hand in his left, he pulled her closer to him by her waist. Madhu looked at his eyes, they were looking her just the way she had always wanted him to look at her.

RK twirled her thrice before pulling her backwards so that Madhu's back rested on his chest. RK slowly took her hand and rested it on his cheek as he took in the warmth.

As they swayed to the tune Madhu felt a feeling o comfort spreading inside her. As they neared the music section she thought it was enough and twirled once before letting go of RK's hold, but RK was too fast and caught her as she looked at him. He gave her a smirk before pulling her and lifting her.

RK pulled her again by her waist while Madhur rested her hands on RK's neck. They swayed to the tune but were soon distracted as it began raining outside. Madhu smiled at RK while he spoke, "Humaare pyaar ke lamho ko dekhne, bin mausam barsaat zaroor hoti hai.."

Madhu ran into the balcony and enjoyed the rain. It was so peaceful yet lovely. RK stood at the doorway and watched her playing in the rain and laughing, it had been days he had seen Madhu be so carefree the last time. He enjoyed the moment before a thought crossed his mind.

RK took Madhu's right hand and placed a soft kiss over it. adhu looked at him astonished before a giggle escaping her when he made her dance in the rain itself. It felt like a perfect movie moment.

Suddenly RK leaned in to kiss Madhu. Her breath hitched as she gulped in anticipation, did she want to kiss him, or not? Should she or not? A thousand questions clouded her mind as RK was too close to her. Her eyes closed automatically as she waited for the kiss to happen.
BG - Rooh se chahne wale aashiq
Baatein jismon ki karte nahin
To her surprise RK kissed on her temple instead of lips. Irrespective of being a small soft forehead kiss, it was so full of love, comfort and repsect that a single tear escaped Madhu's eyes. She did not expect this and opened her eyes to stare right into RK's chocolaty eyes.

RK pulled her close in a hug as they kept swaying to the tune. Madhu rested her face on RK's shoulder as a soft smile crept up on her lips. As the song ended she spoke, "RK, ek baat kahoon??"
RK - hmm...
M - Movie mein apna naam, Rishabh nahi RK hi rakhna..please..
RK - Kyun?? Kya hua??
M - RK to sabka hai, apne fans, apne chahnewalon ka, sabka...Rishabh...agar Rishabh sach mein aisa hai to mujhe...mujhe Rishabh, pura ka pura chahiye.. jis pe sirf mera haq ho..
RK pulled away from her as she smiled at him, "I love you, Madhu.." Madhu opened her mouth but her smile drooped a little as she couldn't say it back. RK nodded understandingly and smiled at her, "Biwi, tumne mujhse pehle bhi pyaar kiya hai, aur isiliye tum mujhse fir se pyaar zaroor karogi.. bas thode waqt ke zaroorat hai tumhe jo main tumhe dene ke liye bilkul taiyaar hu!"
Madhu chuckled at him, "Tum..tum sab chor sakte ho par dialogue marna nahi choroge na??"
RK - Naah Biwi, agar dialogue maarna chor dia to main to jeena hi chor dunga..
M - Chorna bhi mat, warna tumhare RK mein se K kam ho jayega...
