These were early 1992 remakes of old songs ...So much difference from making a genuine remake and the party remake of today times😊

I thought a remake was they were adding a twist to the song like the Cheez Badi song. If they are singing the song again with just new voices, what is the difference ? Is it still called a remake ?

Cheez Badi added the party kind of music which ruined the essence of the song of same singer Udit Narayan though they didnt changed the male voice still the song lost the beauty 😊 , although these songs which i posted are tribute versions but what i feel is these earlier version or remake what ever it can be named had the innocence and essence of what the golden period of music have taught to them perhaps due to these kind of soulful recreations/remakes/versions they kept the 60's music alive to the generation of 90's or 2000's , i still remember the days when these version Cd's used to get appreciation from general public and people actually used to buy these version Cd's.

I remember these remakes (or are they called Cover versions?), especially of Sonu Nigam were very popular.

That video of Sonu singing at age 15 is awesome. Have seen before. TFS 😃

infact being a 90's kid ...these versions introduced me to the legacy of Muhammad Rafi and his songs because 60's or 70's were too old for me to enjoy back in time , but lately i realized the worth of that classic era what we call golden era of hindi films
