Episode starts with

Dadi ji asks for suman's hand in marriage for Ranveer. Suman and Ranveer staring competition. Dadi ji speaks very convincingly. She adds that even with suman's past, she wants suman to be part of ranveer's future. Also that having a daughter-in-law with qualities like suman would be an honor. Kalavati says that suman lost everyone else she had and that Kalavati is all she has. Dadi ji says that Kalavati has all the right to say no' but she must think about everyone's happiness before making any decision and whatever Kalavati decides, she will not complain.

Kalavati thinks of last night's events and what Sanjana said. Suman thinks about what Kalavati said earlier before dadi ji and ranveer's arrival.

Sanjana wishes Kalavati says yes.

Kalavati says yes' with great efforts. Suman is shocked as if her whole world just turned upside down. Suman looks at Kalavati and Ranveer looks at suman. Everyone else is happy to hear Kalavati agree for Ranveer-suman marriage. Antara remembers tulsi vivah incident and thanks god for bringing colors of happiness in suman's life.

Suman drops tray of snacks. Dadi ji asks what suman's wish is. Sanjana worries what if suman declines. Suman is about to say something but Kalavati interrupts. Kalavati says that suman wouldn't have any objection and she will do as she says. Suman thinks of her promise to Kalavati.

Suman says yes which makes everyone happy except Ranveer who tries to read suman's eyes.

Kalavati calls Sanjana Antara and everyone congratulates each other. Kalavati asks Sanjana Antara to serve sweets to everyone to celebrate the occasion.

Ranveer asks permission to speak with suman alone. Kalavati allows saying that sure they can as they would want to know each other more. Suman goes out. Dadi ji congratulates Ranveer and then he goes outside to talk to suman.

Suman cries wondering why is this happening. Ranveer comes and first tries to clarify that he didn't even knew dadi ji would bring the marriage proposal herself and that he was sleeping when she came and woke him up to come here. Ranveer talks about how he has being trying to convince suman for marriage and every time suman kept saying no. Ranveer says to suman that everyone is happy that Kalavati now has agreed for their marriage. He adds that he is getting the feeling that suman said yes only because Kalavati said yes. He asks if suman wants to marry him. Suman thinks that she is sorry but she don't want to marry Ranveer. She decides to speak her mind and says NO.

Ranveer is shocked to hear this and asks suman if she really don't wish to marry him. Before suman says anything, Sanjana drops by and turns it all around. Sanjana says that suman didn't mean it in that way. Sanjana adds that suman is worried that Sindoora aunty might never agree for this union and this is all happening so fast that suman is shaken. Sanjana also says that Suman is concerned about what it would mean for Ranveer if he marries a widow and a single mother. Sanjana hugs and emotionally blackmails suman. Suman thinks that even Sanjana wants her to marry Ranveer.

Ranveer tries very hard to read suman's eyes and says he will take care of Sindoora. He also adds that he don't care what the world might think and that everyone in the family already agrees for this marriage, which is why dadi ji brought this marriage proposal. He asks again if suman wants to marry him with her own consent. Sanjana again says yes on suman's behalf. Sanjana pulls Ranveer away and takes him inside. Suman is left outside near the tulsi plant to think about it all. She thinks about all the incidents that hinted her second marriage and thinks to herself that if this is what her destiny has decided for her, then she will accept and oblige it with her full consent.

Back in mittal residence, dadi ji comes announcing the good news. She says that her wish to see all three grandson's marriages in same mandap will now be fulfilled. Everyone is happy to see dadi ji so happy. Nupur asks if Ranveer agreed to marry Niharika. Dadi ji replies that Ranveer wanted to marry suman and now Kalavati has given her consent for this union. Sindoora, sahil and Nupur are in shock. Everyone else is happy to hear the good news.

Sindoora wonders how could this happen. Sindoora expresses her disagreement but Devraj shuts her up saying that no one gets to deny dadi ji's decision. Sindoora starts her melodrama saying that Ranveer has to choose one between suman and his mother. Ranveer holds sindoora's hands and tries to reason with her saying that he wants his mother but with suman as well. Devraj, Suhasini, Aakash, Brijesh, dadi ji, Nupur and manan are all happy to hear the way Ranveer said it brilliantly. But Sindoora shakes away ranveer's hand and leaves. Aakash goes after Sindoora. Ranveer watch Sindoora as she leaves.

Precap:

Ranveer hands over a bridal dress in red colour to suman. Ranveer then brings out suman's colourless sarees outside and burns them all in front of suman and rest of her family. Ranveer says that there is no longer any need for such sarees in suman's life and that there will be only colours of happiness in suman's life from now on.
