Awesome episode with parallels - loved it

Wow.. what an episode...I totally loved it. Now this is called showing parallels and proving Karma is a bitch.

For a change, I am glad Asha interfered and took things into her hands. I am glad she told everyone to shutup and not talk.
Bijoy is so scared of his wife 😆 so was everyone else in the house.

I also liked asha's pov that just because the person infront of you crosses all limits and becomes bartameez, we dont have to do the same.
It is good to stay in limits and my be respond logically and sternly instead of screaming and scolding... claps for that.
So Asha agrees that Dev is bartameez. point to be noted.

I am also glad she made them sit and threatened them if they dont pull their act together she will take soha and go somewhere else. I know she cant do it legally, hey bolne mein kya hai.. point is dev and sona understood what is happening and how absorbed they are in fighting that they hardly spent any time with Suhana. So lets hope there will be less yelling and screaming in Bose house and what every ppl talk - they talk sensibly and to the point.

I did not expect Dev and sona to vent out their 7 yrs frustration today and i am glad it didnt happen. they just need to behave like adults and act as team for suhana. venting frustrations will come out over a period of time - i am sure.

and then wow ... how well CVs showed the parallels

Parallel 1 : Dev cooking Soha's favorite fish vs Sona cooking Dev's favorite halwa
Dev wanted to cook for Suhana and Asha helped him ... looking at the way bijoy was gulping the fish ... it sure was tasty.
But then what happened...God had other plan .. jatin picked soha and she wanted to eat a burger and She ended up not eating what Dev cooked for her so lovingly. Point to note Dev made extra efforts to cook just like Sona made effort to cook for him when she never cooked before.. Both did this out of love.

Dev did not eat the halwa sona made as it was not edible. So what ever the reason is. Sona and Dev both were disappointed in the same way.


Parallel 2 : Soha believing that Jatin-Soha will make a good team vs Dev believing that Dev-ish were the team and Sona is the outsider. I think Soha is really very attached to Jatin. looks like he pretty much filled the father's spot all these years. They have a very strong bond.
So soha feels even though Dev is her father, Jatin and her will make a better team. Dev and Golu will be good team...
I think this is most realistic way to show how the kids feel. lets say tomorrow if vicky comes and says Golu, i love you and i want to make it up to all those missing years. i want to spend 24/7 with you. will Golu stop bonding with Dev ? no... same situation here.
So Soha and Jatin has a bond that Dev will not understand ... just like Dev believed Sona will not understand Dev-Ish bond.


So I am sure everyone understood ... jatin = Ishwari and Dev = Sona

Sona had to make extra effort to make space and time for herself and Dev. where as Dev was running after Ishwari every moment he gets and was not that worried about how alone and left out sona would feel

Similarly, Dev has to put in extra efforts to make space for himself in Soha's life with out actually disturbing an already existing and thriving Jatin-Soha bond. There will be several instances where Soha will just not consider Dev's rights or feelings and will run to Jatin as her first preference. it would be interesting to see how Dev will deal with this and create that bond with Soha.

I know some are expecting Sonakshi to tell Jatin to back off or remove him from the picture so that Dev will have all the space and time to bond with Soha.
But, i would say why... there is nothing toxic in jatin- soha relationship. He was a proxy for father all these years and Soha is really attached to him. So why should he be removed from the picture. Sona never asked Dev to remove Ishwari from the picture- so that she and Dev can bond ? that was the honeymoon that never happened right...

anyways, i loved the episode... hopefully CVS will continue to show such parallel and leading to Dev atleast understand if not repent on what he could have done to save the marriage.

For parallel 1 yes disappointment was the same. But difference is Dev did as per asha s instructions he dint use his mind there..

But in halwa scene Sona used her mind and her professional skills and messed up the food.

Both persons efforts are appreciated. But there Sona should have done what ishwari said ... And secondly here Soha don't even recognise that her father prepared lunch or dinner for her. There after knowing that dish was made by Sona he tried to cover up...

I knowing it's not worthy comparing a man with a small kid..

One appreciative thing is though Sona n Dev doesn't know cooking they tried it ..

Dev being a veggie cooking non veg is really appreciated.

Sona who don't even know ABC of cooking tried something delicious just to win his heart...

Yes I agree.. sona was stupid to think she can make it healthy by changing the proportions. ppl who dont know cooking dont understand how important the measurements are when they are baking or preparing sweets. But none the less .. both Dev and Sona made extra efforts to please their loved ones. and both are equally disappointed for what ever reason. so the emotions are the same.

Excllent post. Jatin - Soha shares the same bond as Dev - Golu. Soha understood that so easily while assuring Golu that she will never come between his bigcha and him as she understand their bonding.But it is too tough for Dev to realize that as he cannot think beyond family and blood relation.

Asha the mother who treats both Sona and Dev equally and scolded them equally though Dev hurt her family a lot but Ishwari, who always held Sona responsible for all faults of Dev. Another parallel is shown today.

I'm glad Jatin is there and he should stay. He has bonded with Soha since her birth and has been there for her always. He is so atuned with her that Soha doesn't take a moment to think he would not be the perfect partner.
