However, I think Dev's view on marriage was quite clear yesterday. He thinks love conquers all and two people in love should stay together no matter the situation. He has parasites in his family that he cannot disown. That is the same reason why he feels Ronita and family can also be part of Bose family and can live happily despite Mrs. Mondals actions.

In his own marriage he has seen love is not enough. Respect, trust among the family members has a big role

Yesterday, he was asked to leave the house similar to how he asked Sona to leave his house. But Dev stood his ground and considered the Bose household his (although Soha is the reason now) and announced that he is going nowhere. Sona on the other hand had walked away from Dev when asked to do so. Dev's biggest issue is that Sona did not consider him and his love enough to want to stay. He considered them as one and wanted Sona also to fight for their togetherness.

I don't think we can draw parallel on this for several reasons

1. Dev has come to Bose house as a challenge. He had entered taunting Bijoy as Mr. Bose, did you miss me! So when he has entered forcibly why will he go even if told to go? 😊

2. He is feeling superior, he knows if he tells the truth the same Bijoy will feel ashamed so morally he is on a higher ground so he can ignore their get-outs.

3. The person he loves the most Soha is already supporting him.
