Beautiful Parallels

Season 1 and 2 are ..more like a game played by parallels...

Season 1 Dev was less fun loving , very focused on work and family ...nothing else mattered to him. Sonakshi was more fun loving ..very lively ..believed in love...rather I would say she was in love with the idea of love..waited eagerly for her lover story to begin. She felt love was enough to survive and sustain a relationship...rest every thing will fall in place...hence...

During Neha /Ranveer track Sonakshi tried her best to save their marriage but Dev felt love was not enough to live and sustain a marriage.


Season 2 Sonakshi is less fun loving , very focused on work and family ...nothing else mattered to her..
Dev understood that , after all those years of blindly slogging and only thinking of others ...got him nothing ...he lost the most precious person in his life ...rather the one who he thought was his...and that one person he wanted in life to be there with him thru out... hence he is more relaxed and street smart now...never gives in until he wants to...

Here you see Dev taking the blame of robbery on to himself to save Sourabh and Ronitha's marriage...he believes blindly in love ...his statements to Ronita's mom proves his belief in love...because that is the one he lost in his life...we know the value of things only when you loose it ...when around we always takes it for granted...

I loved todays episode...its nice to see the role reversal happening betwn Sonakshi and Dev...both met with the same problem...the pain of separation ...but what they learnt from their struggles of life are different ...which eventually changed their characters ,perspectives of life and thought process too..!!

dev taking the blame on himself to save saurabh ronita's marriage.. (i seriously didn't get it ashwathy - what was dev's logic?) 😕 who knows future mein woh kya karegi????

according to me , parallels were -

season 1 - dixits blamed bijoy for stealing & called him a thief.. & sona supported her father

season 2 - same scenario, but this time soha supported dev 😊

Well observation...but I didn't like when sonakshi didn't like to think even for a second and starts blaming dev today

I also remembered one same incident where in past when soankshi was also in similar situation and trying to know truth about guy with whom riya was going to maary and she made fake profile to know the truth about him then that time dev supported her as he trusted her and also sonakshi didn't revealed truth about that guy to Dev as she always more interested to solve problem by herself and don't know why ?
And dev himself found the truth that sonakshi was upto something and in today episode when dev took sonakshi to other room and said that he had doubts on ronita mother then here also soankshi didn't trust him whereas dev trusted that only sonakshi may listen him in this house.

I don't like comparing but if I have to then I think dev have more trust on soankshi where as soankshi have less trust on him even before leap

Exactly. To win 2 hearts all Dev needed was a timely lie. Both Asha and Soha know he lied and accept that it is a white lie (perhaps) and support him. Why blame people when they can't see through your lies? Unfortunately, if he expects Bijoy and Sona to support him, he is crying wolf.

Goal is important but means are too. A relationship based on lies will eventually fail.

Dear all , thank you for your comments...I wasn't looking at the logic of Dev's behavior...I was just telling that ...both changed and their perspective towards the concept of love and marriage also changed with their individual experience.

If logic has to be taken, Sonakshi is rt in what she said...marriage happens betwn 2 families and its imp that they understand and respect each other. ...especially when the kids are too attached to the family...

But Dev is stuck in a time zone or rather he stands where she left him...he has not moved from there...it will take a long time for him to understand her ...

CVs have changed their track after a years extension...initially they had shown a rebellious Dev towards his mom...but now all of a sudden he has gone back to the season 1 version...that is not rt ...it somehow doesn't gel in ..

Well said Rahul. Wonderful observation with very apt instance occurred in past. Dev always trusted Sonakshi and believed in her. Unfortunately Sonakshi failed miserably in keeping faith in Dev. Yesterday she proved it again.
