Holla guys😛
Can any of u analyse the following line from 'Kismat Ke Likhe' song...the one that used to play during Devakshi's break-up...
"Haq jaan pe ho jiska, uske bina jaan ho"...
Thanks!

Oh..You brought so many memories with your post😊
"Haq jaan pe ho jiska, uske bina jaan ho"

The literal translation is...
You have to live without someone, who has the right to your life, your soul!

How beautifully ironic na!
I will try to explain it taking Dev. .but it equally applies to Sona.
Dev loved Sona with all his heart, his entire being belonged to her.. Hence, Haq jaan pe ho jiska. He never could imagine his life without her or that he would himself oust her out of his life.
For him, Dev meant Sonakshi and Sonakshi meant Dev. One being. When they first fought because of Neha, Dev stood outside her house for 3 hours in the rain but did not enter inside. That is the haq Sonakshi had over him.

But, when he broke up with her..you can imagine the guilt and pain he must be living with. He was separated from the one to whom his soul, his life belonged..hence he separated from his life. Uske bina jaan ho
And what was even more painful was that he himself was the reason for this separation.
Thanks for reminding those beautiful lines :)
