The cool air coming from air-conditioner played with his hair , caressing his face a little ...they soothed his tiring nerves bringing an instant smile on his lips .
Whatever happened last night completely exhausted him but left him light as well , It was like he was carrying a heavy weight all these days from which he got releived only last night .
Drowned in his dreamworld he slept peacefully on his kind size bed when a manly chirped in his ear drums disturbing his sleep .
Morning Jalal beta ...stepping in, the man in mid fifties greeted .

Get up now ...his high pitched voice shook Jalal out of his deep slumber .
Almost jerking up he sat straight on the bed , squintimg his eyes against the fluorescent white lights he uttered groggily ...
Kareem chacha ...is this ...he paused stifling his yawn ...the way u wake up someone ...he completed rubbing his eyes .
Streching his arms he craned his neck from left to right when something hit hard on his brain .
Wait !! Kareem chacha.?? seriously ? He looked puzzeld ...blinking his eyes a couple of times he looked around disoriented ,as to where he was .
And to his amazement , heck he was in his own house , lying on his own bed .
what the hell am i doing here ?? Wasn't i supposed to be at Jodha's place ?...the last thing he remembered was Jodha's house ...the garden and then him sleeping on the swing ...but if that was so ...how did he reached here ??
He racked his head hard to remember what exactly happened last night but no avail .
Scratching his head ,he closed his eyes ...could it be possible that Jodha dropped me here ?? he thought suggestively when kareem chacha's voice chimmed in his ears .
Jalal beta ...where r u lost ?? Extending his hand he brought a cup of hot coffee in front of his eyes ...

Abdul ...yes ...it was Abdul , Jalal beta ...he dropped u here ...came Kareem chacha's voice which ofcourse startled Jalal .
Really ??? he scratched his head to recall previous nights incidents ...he didnt know why but he felt he was with Jodha ...but if he was with her then how did Abdul came into screen? ? ...was i dreaming ??he looked thoughtfully ...No no ...he dismissed the thought as it was near to impossible ...he debated with his conscience , for he vaguely remembered their talks ...just a tid bits here and there which seemed real ...but then he wasnt completely sure either ...what if he was just imagining things ?He sighed defetedly unable u recall anything clearly .
Oh wait ...he was forcefully snapped out of his thoughts ...if it was just my dream does that mean ..i missed talking and convincing Jodha again ??
Damn!! ...he held his aching head in despair and began to curse himself hitting his head with his hand ... when Kareem chacha's voice broke his trance .
Beta ...Arent u going to college today ?? Took leave or what ?? Kareem chacha who was totally oblivion to the thoughts going in Jalal's mind stood there confused ...and asked his plans for the day .

He took the corner chair facing canteen's entryway ... though surrounded by his friends who were having gala time together ...Jalal sat detached among them .
so many thing were going in Jalal's head ...he still couldnt beleive it was just a dream ...he was confused like hell unable to beleive what was real what was imaginary .
He was drown in his own thoughts when Jodha made her way into the canteen with her friends ...her eyes were searching for someone and there they fell on the same person she was searching for .
It was no less then a dream for Jodha too ...she still remember the previous night events ...it was so fresh in her mind like it happened just a few minutes ago and not to mention the smile which didnt left her face since then .

Tears rolled down her cheeks as he said the last words ...she was too shocked to show any kind of emotion ...it was so surreal ...Jalal was pouring out his feelings for her and here she was standing like a statue .
Stupid stupid so stupid of her ...she wanted to run into his arms and hug him tight and relase all the pain which pricked her heart every now and then since past two days ... she wanted to tell him ...how she feels around him..she wanted to confess that he had managed to become the person she wanted to think about when she wakes up ...and the person she wanted to be next to ,when she falls asleep ...yet she was there standing away like a dumbo .
Her mind was a mix of emotions ...the sudden happenings were frightening , nerve wracking and exhilarating all at once .
Her mind took a stroll down the memory lane ...she remembered the day she met him for the first time and the day she realised what he means to her...till today when he confessed his feelings for her ...everything fitted perfectly together sending a rush of yearning and devotion through her blood .
And before she gathered herself and reciprocate ...Moti's voice brought her back to present .
what the... her shrill voice peirced through Jodha's ears hitting her ear drums hardly .
shhh...sshhh...shhh...Jodha rushed to Moti in a split of second and shushed her up .
Moti saw Jodha's eyes which were red and puffed ...she was crying ,it wasnt a rocket science to figure it out right ...rage took over her senses ...rolling up her imaginary sleeves Moti demanded .
Care to explain what's he doing here ?did he do something to u ? her brows knitted seriously ready to kill the person who dared to mess with her SIL ,while her both hands rested on her hips .
Bhabhi ...what r u doing here ?? She crossquestioned Moti wiping the tears off her face ...should'nt u supposed to be on ur bed ?? what if bhaisa gets up and finds u nowhere in the room ...??she reasoned to which Moti replied .
Arrey ...i woke up to drink water , only to find the bottle empty ...shifting her gaze from Jalal to Jodha ...Moti continued.
I was on the way to kitchen when i thought to just check on u becoz...umm...u know right ...but guess u were missing , scaring the hell out of me ...i searched the whole house snd found the door unlocked ...when i peeped out before closing ...i saw u people here ...
she blabbered all in one go before rolling her eyes .
Now my turn ... what is he doing here... .coming back to the point she left before Moti raised her brow .

Really ...she blinked at her in sheer disbelief for few seconds or so and then squealed out with excitement ...while Jodha tried to shut her up .

oops ...she covered her mouth with her hands...but still couldnt stop expressing her happiness through smile .
she held Jodha's hand and hugged her tightly ... i m so happy for u Jodha ...i always knew ...it was just a matter of time and that u will be back together again ...after all u people r meant to be together ...she winked with a tinge of tease in her eyes making Jodha blush hard ...when something dawned upon jodha dispersing the smile which came on her lips after long time .

so iii took a cab ...he tried hard to speak coheren words ...but failed miserably .
Great ...so he remembers it isnt safe to drive while drunk , eh ? now how wil u go back ?? She quizzed scaring the consequenses of his smart act .

Jodha waited for her Bhabhi to go back into the house and then looked back at Jalal who stirred uncomfortably in his sleep and was about to fall when Jodha ran to him and caught his head .
she slowly takes her place beside him and rests his head on her lap ignoring the shiver that just ran up her spine due to close proximity .
All his words chimmed in her ears like a soft music ...she relished each and every word of his while brushing his hair lovingly . A sweet smile played on his lips with her touch as if he recognised her touch even in his sleep ...he cuddled into a ball bringing his legs up on the swing and pushed his body close to her .
A soft gasp escaped her lips with his body so close to her ...Jodha's breath hitched ..everything around her came to abrupt standstill ...no movements, no sounds nothing reached her ears ...all she couls hear was his and her heartbeats that echoed through her mind in unison .
It took her few seconds to compose herself ...she checked her mobile for the tenth time ...it was quite late and Abdul didnt came yet ...she was feeling sleepy thence she rested her head against the swing when her mobile ringed .
Adbul was calling her ...
Come inside ...the gate is opened ...she answered picking up the call quickly .
And there he came ...with a sheepish grin on his lips .
He was decent enough not to ask anything...since it was neither the right time ...nor the right place ...but she could imagine what all dirty thoughts might have possibly poped up in his mind learning his smirk .

Her heart was pounding against her rib cage ...with the last night events still swirling in her head ...she took a step ahead only to meet his dashing persona .
He stood distinguished among all the folks with his white t shirt and red leather Jacket .
Her eyes met his distant dark brown orbs, they stared each other without blinking ...while Jodhas heart was excited yet nervous with how to proceed hereafter ...Jalal sat with his mind blank ...he still couldnt comprehend whether the last night events happened in real or it was just all his imagination . He mentally smacked his mind zillion times for being such an idiot .
With his eyes still fixed on her he noticed Rukkaiya behind Jodha ...Damn ...his posture stiffened at the sight ...which didnt go unnoticed by Jodha and before she could think of anything ...Jodha found Jalal leaving the place with his friends from the other door .
what happened to him ?? she thought ...and not so soon later she found Rukkaiya passing by her ,reaching for Jalal when he just exited the canteen .
Jalal baby ...she ran behind him while Jodha decided to follow them ...leaving Moti and Reva behind her to order something .

Hence without giving much thought she quickly trekked towards them with a coke tin in her hand which she bought a while before from canteen ... once reached , without any pause she deliberately stumbled on her feet and knowingly spilled the content of the tin on Rukkaiya's fancy dress making her scream aloud .
God u idiot ...where did u keep ur eyes before walking ...
A devilish smile played on her lips at the question thrown by Rukkaiya to her ...but only if she could actually answer her question .

Her heart swelled with happiness for having a person in her life , who , apart from her Bhaisa and Bhabhi cared for her ...she stared on lovingly as she remembered Jalal's words from last night .
" I want someone to pamper me , just my di used to do ...I want someone to guide me when i go wrong ...someone to hold me when i stumble ...someone who supports me my entire life ...someone who can be my strength ,not my weakness .
And she was earnestly willing to do all these for him .
Rukkaiya's harsh voice brought her back from her chain of thoughts .

Jodha turned to face the group when her eyes fell on Abdul who looked agape .
what ?? why r u looking as if u have seen a ghost ...she snorted making him gulp down the peice of toast which Jalal didnt allow to finish in canteen with his sudden disperse .
Not so soon later she became aware of the fact that the rest of the collegemates strolling around in corridoors had seen her little performane and are in absoloute fits of laughter .
Gosh ...what did i do just now ? Feeling utterly embarrassed she didnt make any eye contact with Jalal or anyone thereafter and left the place quietly ensuring that rukkaiya wouldnt trouble her Boy atleast for sometime .
Jalal felt something strange in Jodha today which he couldnt put his finger on ...but surely she acted different today compared to past two days .
Abdul who seemed too shocked with the strange encounter ...shifted a little towards Jalal .
And the hitler is back again ...he whispered plastering a terrified face .

The war between his mind and heart finally ceased with Abdul's revealation ...so it was just not his dream....his lips curved up into a smirk while his heart urged to know more ...
And ?? He excitedly waited for him to speak further while Abdul just looked on .
And what ? Dude this is all i now ...he shrugged off casully , dampening Jalal's excitement .
He wished he could know more , he only remembered few things here and there ...but what excatly happened only Jodha could tell him ... Amidst all he was sure of one thing... things were going to be fine soon between him and Jodha.
He quickly turned on his heels to see "HIS" Jodha ...after all , how could he stop himself now when he knows quite well that he almost got his girl back ...

Her heart was still hammering against her chest ...she couldnt beleive what she did just now...it seemed silly to her for a second and the next minute when her eyes met everyone 's amused gazes her heart flushed .
God ... what am i even doing ...taking a deep breath she took out water bottle from her bag when Jalal came and stood beside her .
she need not have to look aside to see who the person was ...for, her pounding heart itself screamed the name of the person standing aside.

An amused grin adored his face as he continued staring her ...how much he missed the look of effect he had on her ...
Few minutes passed , there was a sweet silence filled between them all of a sudden ... with so much to talk , so much to confess , yet they stood silent staring each other .
Thankfully Jalal decided to break the silence rather then standing awkwardly silent ... hope i didnt trouble u last night much ...he asked softly , hoping he didnt trouble her much last night .
kanha ...dont tell me he forgot everything he said last night ...looking up at the imaginary deity form Jodha furrowed her eyes huffing .
uhuh ...uhuhhh ...finding her lost Jalal faked a cough .
By the way ...what happened last night ? ...he paused inching closer to her , a devilish smirk creeping over his lips ...ofcourse he still didnt remember anything from previous night but he was sure that something transpired between them last night which brought his old Jodha back to him .
Chucking all the restrictions , all the boundaries today ...he closed in...for he knew everything was back to normal now ...and that the knowing yearning ,longing was mutual ...he leaned further leaving only a hair width distance between them .
Watching her closely he observed her wearing emerald green kurti paired with white legging and a white scraf around her neck ...
Again green ... a smirk appeared on his lips ...by any chance did she came to know that green in my fav ... he wondered when a slight blew of wind made her dark tresses flow freely in the air , falling back , covering her face partly .
He quickly tucked the hair behind her ear unwitting to miss the sight of her angelic face even for a second , his eyes then went down to her quivering lips which were painted with baby pink lip gloss and stayed their for more than a minute .
Thankfully the lunch time was over by now otherwise the now lonely corridoor would have been flooded with students and lecturers by now ,snatching their privacy .
It took every ounce of him to squash the urge to kiss her and besides college was definetly not the place to get all mushy .
She felt the tingy feeling at the pit of her stomach again ...while her heart throbbed violently ...so much that she feared if anyone could hear her heartbeats .
Turning her gaze away she tried ignoring the heat of her nervous excitement burning her cheeks when Jalal whispered .
Im still waiting for ur answer ...his lips deliberately brushed behind her ears in the process before pulling back and he had no qualms doing so .
...Gosh ...a low gasp escaped her mouth while...her cheeks turned deep red . she felt his eyes boring deep into her skin deepening her breath ...while he smirked at the tell tale signs .
She glanced at him in surprise and found him still looking at her ...a blush appeared which she tried hard to hide away from him .
He was still waiting patiently for her to say something when Jodha finally opened her mouth...take me to ammijaan Jalal...her words softly left her mouth as she composed herself by now while a sweet smile played on her lips.

Hamida was sitting in her room lost in her own thoughts ...she went to city hospital in the morning ... though the doctor gave a hope of salima recovering soon ...still the mother in her ached to see her daughter lying lifeless on the bed .
Her case was shut down with no clues further while her enemy was roaming around freely ...and he would not leave any stones unturned to find salima and kill her right then if he or she gets even a slightst clue of salima being alive .
she has to keep her daughter away from everyone's eyes ...even if that means she needs to stay away from her family .

Jodha beta ... her eyes instantly lightened up followed by a soft smile ...Jodha has that aura around her which filled happiness everywhere around her .

Jodha instead kneeled down and rested her head in Hamida's lap .
she lovingly ran her fingers through Jodha's hair while she relished the feeling of it , she couldnt remember when was the last time she slept like this with her head in her mothers lap ...she so much missed her mother ...
Thanks a lot Ammijaan ...her lips quivered making her voice trail off...she couldnt utter anything else ...tears made their way out ...she didnt wanted to cry ...atleast not now when Jalal himself assured about their future ...yet when did these stubborn tears ever listened to her .
Hamida was shocked for a second to hear Ammijaan from Jodha's mouth ...and the next moment she felt the happiest person on earth as it dawned upon her that her son succeeded to get back his love .

u know Jodha ... i never beleived my son could ever give the key to his heart to someone ...her voice turned thick ...
He has seen a lot in all these years ...he was a normal kid in his childhood but sadly everything was snatched away from him ...his father his di ...even i was not there for him when he needed me the most ...he had no one to share his grief ... he had kept so much in his heart but never said a word from his mouth .
After his di's death he was completely shattered ...slowly he made alcohol his life ...partying , clubbing ...this was his life ...but he started changing ...and i was happy to see him changing ...
U know Jodha ...i always knew it was only u who could bring back happiness in his life and this was proved right ...when i saw an unknown fear in Jalal's eyes that day in the party ... which i had seen few years back when he lost his di .
He surely doesnt want to loose u Jodha ...wiping the lone tear that escaped her eyes she continued ...i couldnt hold myself anymore ...i wanted to help him in which ever way possible ... i never did anything for him ...atleast i can help him in getting back his love .
Her voice quivered as she said so ...recalling all the odd days when the mother and son lived like strangers ...but now things were changing and she was thankful to Jodha , being the reason behind this change .
she genltly caressed her head while Jodha looked up taking her hand ...reassuring the mother who urged to do anything for her son

Taking a long breath hamida closed her eyes ...no matter what happens in future Jodha ...promise me that u will never leave my son and that u will always take care of him . I might not be there tomorrow...hamida continued when jodha kept her hands on her mouth .
Never ever say that again ...she said meekly ... i dont want to loose my mother again ...Hamida smiled at her when suddenly they the the creak sound of the door .
Their heads turned in unison to see who was that . ... Jalal ...
He was standing there all the time since Jodha entered in ...he wanted to go with her...but damn this awkwardness which always stopped him from being himself around his mother .
he heard every bit of their conversation ...tears brimmed in his eyes too hearing his mother handling his responsibility to Jodha ...but her last words twisted his heart ...even the thought of loosing her sent cold shiver down his spine .
he dashed to his room fearing the thought of loosing his mother ...no matter how much difference they have in between still she was his family ...and he no more can afford to loose his dear ones .
He sat down on the floor with Salima's pic frame in his hands ...resting his head against the bed ...he let go off the tears which he held from long time .
He was lost caressing his di's picture when Jodha stepped in his room .
she quietly sat besides him and slid her hand around his arm . Clutching his hand she rested her head on his shoulder while he touched his head with hers ...silently weeping she made a promise within herself ...that is to walk this life with him ...forever .
