What a happening episode!

Duplicate seemingly under Rudra's control, Annika goes to find Shivaay, who's alone during Holi celebrations. She puts this awesome purple shade on his cheeks and wishes him. (Is there any color that doesn't suit him?) Then she asks him to wish back properly, complaining.

Smiling, he pulls her close and rubs his cheek to hers (IPK haldi style ☺️).. scene wasn't as good as IPK's and as far as "Ang laga de re" goes , this wasn't as scorching..

But Annika is suitably blushing and shy, and Shivaay is enjoying her response. Still at blushing and flirtation stage, Shivaay is chivalrously romantic I suppose considering they are not in their room. More dangerous stuff goes on in there... ☺️

EDIT : How can I forget THE HUGS!!

What a hug it was! Ek dum tight wala grabbing type hug. Super blush inducing. He even had to pull back and check how red she was !! 😆

He looks really content doesn't he? Sigh...

But foreheads touching, he smiles and wishes her Happy Holi , and we are as happy as Annika looks. She is glowing and absolutely enjoying Shivaay's attentions. But she's not in the mood to celebrate , she'd rather stay with him. Awww...

"You are my family , Annika. I am happy...".And Annika glows, for her things are looking up.

"Just for a few days, Annika.. " he asks softly, holding her hands. She nods ..

Me faints.. I preferred their conversation to the cheek rubbing honestly...

I can't believe Saumya is still knocked out! Is she concussed or comatose? 😕 Rudra seems worried for her , finally that has started. Not fast enough, but at least she's still in the house.

Drunk Mahi finds himself face to face with himself!! Shivaay stands frozen until he realizes the sloshed duplicate has trancended the realm of logic and reason.😆

He has a conversation with Shivaay, quite innocently revealing his thoughts about the Oberois. His brothers are weird and huggy, and he thinks Shivaay is the luckiest man in the world because he has everything: Name, Khoon, Khandaan and Pyaar.

The jolt that gave Shivaay was unmistakable.

"I have nothing, no Father's name, no Name. Only Shame..."

Poor fellow. Even Shivaay looked sympathetic for a bit. But the look on Mahi's face made me want to cry.

Hats off to Nakuul the ceiling breaking performance. The two twins can't be more different and are both endearing in their own ways.

Annika was going to look for the Duplicate. I hope she doesn't end up there in the room and Mahi tells about how she is Question Kumari , who got a jolt of fear after throwing water at him. That will make Shivaay boil..

Because the way they were all watching Mahi humiliate himself on the floor (in precap) I did not like...😭

ObBros are back together, that is always a welcome sight... ⭐️🥳

Again hats off Nakuul Mehta , you rocked this episode man! All the awards for him please !!

Will I be killed here if I say I actually liked Shivaay and Mahi's scene more than ShivIka's? 😆

You're right about the cheek rubbing scene. It didn't really do much for me. I liked the forehead touch but Ang Laga De Re is next level intense. It didn't suit a situation that looked more playful. Esp not for something happening in the hall in such a public way. Even Anika was unsatisfied and held his hand to stop him from leaving 🤣 Pappu needs to start taking hints better.

Also Anika got such a JOLT when he touched only her hand 😆 Poor thing. She's so ready, waise 😆 Also that biwi khoobsurat dialogue was a little too much cheese for me 😆

So yeah, I just felt the ShivIka scene was there only because it's holi and they had to give us a ShivIka scene. Forced into the episode for no better reason than that. Khair, I liked the part where he told her she was blushing again and pointed to both their cheeks before leaving. That was cute. Also, the you're my family bit and Anika not wanting to leave was good. ETA: But overall, the scene was pretty bleh for me.

Shivaay and Mahi scene was so perfectly executed. I feel like they may have spent more time on that scene, as opposed to ShivIka scene because it definitely was better shot and directed. And NM was at the top of his game. I actually think he played Mahi better than Shivaay today (may be because of his dialogue's and MAhi had more to do). But I loved the transition in his face when he went from ridiculing the Oberois to showing that hint of jealousy that they were so "one". Shivaay was, understandably, surprised by the time Mahi finished. He wasn't expecting that twinge of sympathy he felt for Mahi. If this is how they're planning to take this track forward - Shivaay realizing all that his very own brother didn't have - then I think it'll be better than the illegitimacy track (which, honestly, was going to be tricky, anyways). Instead, Shivaay sees, through Mahi, what i'it's like to grow up without NKK and love and counts his blessings.

Forgot to add: I loved the transitions in writing as well, in that scene. So seamlessly went from humor to sadness. The dialogues given to Mahi were top notch. Revealing just enough of his feelings to tug at our heartstrings.

Waise I loved the anger on Shivaay's face when Mahi was blabbering on about the Oberois and his brothers. I really wanted him to say something about question Kumari. 😆

As for precap, so Kamini isn't there, I guess? Which is why the switch'll be successful.

You always put down everything I have to say about an episode so perfectly!! ⭐️

As the other starved fans, I too enjoyed the episode tonight 😆

Not having watched IPK (except for a few random scenes here and there) I can't really compare the scenes. But I agree with you on the point where I loved their conversation over the 'ang laga...' bit too!

I feel Annika more than SSO has really been reduced to being the typical second fiddle playing partner? But I guess this has been my problem with the beginning of the wedding track altogether... not something I want to get into again now 😆

Apart from that, I am floor d by NM's performance tonight and I want to be in that happy place for the weekend for now 😛😆

I was wondering if there are doing romance like this before confession then wat will happen after confession...

mahi is too funny...the faceoff of both was hilarious

this guy has so much of pain inside him...he is Shivaay's brother pakka...mahi also have NKK obsession...and if he is really his brother wat will shivaay do. ...will he accept him...if he accept him...then will he able to give same love to mahi which he is giving to omru...I dnt know how the CV's are planning to execute this track...they can't kill him... because if he is Shivaay's brother then he will break down...after all he is his brother na...

Beautiful post Anisa !!!

As mush as I loved that Ang Laga De Re was played for Shivika, I enjoyed their romantic talk and shy flirtations more as well. I especially loved the bit where Shivaay says to Anika that she is his family and when he asks her to stop talking about the duplicate so he could stare at his beautiful wife for a while more. These small bits were so heart warming and so hubby and wifey like, especially the way the way Shivaay immediately asks if he has done anything wrong and when she says no, he immediately says 'Thank God' 😆 'Bagad Billa is hell scared of his wife getting upset with him 😳 And my favorite 'Just few more days Anika' Their longing to be together was so visible in their eyes. Their hugs are getting more intense and passionate.😳 Narbhi nailed it as usual ! Also kudos to Harneet, Shivika's relationship and its growth is so well written and explored. 👏

Coming to Saumya, I'm worried about her !! Seriously !! First of all she was scared senseless by a man she thought she knew and trusted, but who turned out to be an imposter ! And then she is hit in the head by a wine bottle, man that must have hurt ! But I agree with you, she shouldn't be unconscious for thing long !! Rudra and Prinky worrying about her I liked, thankfully someone is concerned for her finally, and they are looking and investigating. But now that Kamini has seent a text through Saumya's phone, what will happen to her? I'm hoping that before Kamini is able to drag Saumya away from OM, she regains consciousness and escapes from her clutches.

Shivaay and Mahi face off was amazing !! NM stole the episode yet again ! He was incredible in that scene !! Its not easy for a writer and an actor to make the audience feel one emotion after another in the scene. Kudos to Nakul Mehta and Harneet for making me laugh and then making me cry by the time the scene ended. 👏 I feel so much for Mahi !! I really do !! More then the riches he seems to craving for family and love !! His yearning to belong to someone and for people to belong to him came across so beautifully, made me teary eyed.

Thank you for the beautiful post Anisa, I look forward to it every day after watching the episode. ❤️

@ bold unfortuantily... they can't keep mahi in the show unless they would make him replace SSO (they better not even think of this😡)

but i think SSO will take care of mahi but won't love him same as omru ... just like i know for sure that mahi won't love pinky as much as he loves kamini

relations r not just by blood ... they're built by situations and time ...

ifelt sorry for mahi today & i didn't like the idea that i felt that ... winning too much sympathy isn't good

it just reminded me of another show JNDSD where the 2 brothers (not look a likes) are loved by the audience equally that the audience didn't mind if the heroine and the second brother (not the hero ) are married and in love ... 😡

I took liked the Shivika convo more than the cheek rubbing (the speed at which their equation has changed isn't working all that well for me ..)

Shivaay-Mahi scene really was the highlight of the episode both in terms of the brilliant acting by NM, and the dialogs that were spot on!

And Soumya not being missed for so long.. like really? Even Annika seems to have forgotten her since her Shivaay is back :) Prinku seems to have lost her stutter now that she has a role to play in the drama - so I guess that is a good development!

This. I dunno about other people, but them acting like a couple who've been married for 50 years and have 5 kids and 10 grandchildren isn't all that happening for me when only few days ago there were numerous scenes where he wasn't able to say biwi, only, no matter how romantic it outwardly seems.

I think I have said enough times today how much I loved this scene 😆 😆
But you are right, it's the transitions in the writing too that deserve the credit of course too. Thank you for pointing that out! Also, I am sooo glad I am not the only one who was waiting for a mention of the 'question kumaari'... it would have fit no? And would have have obviously been almost comic when SSO would be shown like "this I agree" 😆

but that isn't new is it? i felt they were rushing their romance since i saw the hug before the kidnapping

i honestly think the cvs regret the whole kidnapping and having mahi ... that they 're trying to end the track and give the audience enough to keep watching

but honestly shivika scene weird or not is better than not having them together😆😆
