Tonights delayed episode needs to go to to NM. I know a lot of people would actually love the ShivIka scene (I loved it too) but my god, NM was in his element today.

Shivaay (pretending to be Mahi alter-ego) versus Mahi 👏

I hope there is someone who can make the GIFs for the monologue.

It really was amazing. Especially the part where he is moving forward and taking on each of the O Bros'. I loved SSO for many reasons... the tadibaaz SSO, the Great Wall of SSO...Billu...but mainly because NM owns SSO so perfectly. The attention to the small quirks.. (read socks and the pocket squares 😆). All of it has gone a long way in making me fall in love with the character.

So while I have plenty of reservations about where this track has been going over the last two weeks, I am awed by the performance tonight.

Anyone else share the thoughts?

Totally agree, really enjoyed the episode! And Nakuul did a great job today. And goign by the precap, Mahi is exposed to the family and Kamini should be too soon.

But that Shivika scene was ace, it was a mix of hot and cute. Which is totally Shivaay and Anika😳

Honestly I don't think we are that near an expos yet. But I am no longer an optimist thanks to our Billu-style Paltu CVs 😆 so I might be wrong 😆😆

The ShivIka scene was nice. I think I liked it better on second watch more than the first though 😛😆

But going by the generally dipping episodes of last week, I will take this scene in a heartbeat ❤️

Also, unlike Annika I am going to take some time getting adjusted to the new 'flirty' Billu 😆

It has literally been taking me by surprise the last few times 🤣

I have been watching old episodes lately and they were just out of the world. In last one week the writers messed up the show in such a royal manner that it almost lost it's charm. But thanks to Nakul Mehta and Surbhi that we are still hooked to the show.

Are we being rewarded for tolerating all that mess? Oh yes, after watching Nakul's performance in that alter ego scene, I was blown away. After full one week, I felt like watching the episode again.

Love these two...they are awesome.

I second your thoughts..Nakuul Mehta just totally proved his mettle as an actor today..the Shivaay with Anika was beautiful..
but Mahi was totally on point..no one can do a better drunk act than Nakuul.. he is a brilliant actor.. he owned the show today..!! Didn't just talk the talk..he walked the walk too..

PS--I watched the Shivika scene so many times..atleast 5 before seeing the rest of the episode..they were Awww 😳 ❤️

I think the ShivIka scene aort of grows on you slowly...now that I think about it...this almost feels like their history in a way. This Billu-Billi jodi is so unique that you simply can't handle them a normal traditional way... they grow on you slowly.

But even here though I heart SC, I am partial to Billu 😆...especially the fumbling 'shararti bachha who rings the bell and then runs away' 😆

Ok, since I have complained a lot about this Mahi character😆, I should give credit when due...

NM was fantastic in the last scene, ESPECIALLY as Mahi...I was really surprised by how well he pulled it off...especially the very last emotional bit...this expression...woh smiling wryly through the tears wala...

They've been so haphazard with executing this character over the last two weeks, a lot has jarred...but today was a good culmination in the form of the facing off...Shivaay watching with a poker face as this guy rambles on ranting about his family...😆...special mention also to the fantastic dialogues for Mahi's rants about Rudy and Om...rofl

My only complaint, which was part of the reason I haven't liked this track...Shivika's equation feels random now...speeded up to make it look like they've been married and romancing since 10 years :S

Ah well, credit due to NM today :)

Nakul Mehta's performance is outstanding!!! his antics, his style, his way of showing love through grand gestures 10 crores diamond kangans ohh really??? but that's what makes shivaay , shivaay singh oberoi!!! all his scenes are treat for eyes!! and to be honest it was because of shivaay singh oberoi I decided to watch IB, I didn't watch it I knew about oh another new show but than I saw the clip on hotstar app, meet shivaay and his brother and then I went to pagalll , only for shivaay and ofcourse I fell for shivika too, but shivaay is my first attraction, shivaay lured me to watch IB despite of alll the stupidity!!!

So I've been away from this forum for quite a while now because 1. busy with life 2. trying to enjoy the show as is minus all the over analyzing and CV bashing (that I used to indulge in a little too much) 😆

But today had to be back and find a post like this to comment on. Loved the Shivika moment. Full feels. Surbhi looked soo pretty!! ❤️

And even though, I wasn't convinced about Mahi, the character won me over today. He was legit hilarious and the manner in which he explained what he thought about the Obros was perfect! 👏

I always saw a little bit of Shivaay in Mahi so I could never really separate the two. Even though I didn't mind the idea that much (I thought they'd somehow link it to SSO's NKK obsession), I wasn't convinced by NM's portrayal of Mahi.

But today's episode changed my mind! Today's Mahi was all Mahi and I think I'm finally able to get on board with this character! From his conversation with Rudra about Soumya to his alter-ego monologue, I only saw a tapori ranting and rambling with not even a bit of SSO in there! Amazing work by NM 👏

Okay that's it. *goes back into hibernation mode* 😆

I am sooo glad that I am not the only one who is a little confused with this sudden flirty Billu avatar? I honestly take a few seconds to completely get used to him being so openly romantic 😕😆

Uff your CAPs made all my feels come back! Everything in that whole scene was amazing... from the dialogues to the performance... my top favs are SSO trying to imitate Mahi's hand gestures (beech beech mein he forgot though? 😕😆), Mahi's takes on OmRu and then finally this one... where he compares his fate to Shivaay's.
