But sona always put their relationship first, took all insults, became ready for painful medical treatment, let me mil direct her sex life and yet even today all ish and dev does is blame her. I'm just scared that sona listening to Asha will again becomes the miserable self for sohas sake. Bijou was wrong esp to the innocent golu but dev should introspect that if this much hurted dev this much how much sona would hav hurted. Asha stopping sona from pouring her frustrations out to dev only prolonged Dev's realizations. And seriously maami and Neha has said much worse things to sona, but I never saw Dev this agitated. I'm also a Devakshi shipper but seeing this I feel bad for sona. Dev is heavily attracted to her, but never loved her enough to care about her feelings. Sometimes the worst things are done with the best intentions. Asha did just that to Sina today. I'm just scared for sona coz there are lot of ppl waiting in IN to take her class and she will tolerate everything for soha. Dev won't move a muscle as usual. And I don't think sona is letting sona's perspective abt her dad to be influenced by the bitterness of her failed marriage.

Now Dev knows sona doesn't like dixits. If she tells anything against them I think he will shout her back. When he was in love, he could not do anything, now what he will do...

Now I am really scared for sona. .stupid Asha told her to tolerate, dixits clan ready to harm and Dev won't be trusting sona. Also he made rule today that no one from other family visiting each other. Sona is going to be all alone...

very mature. a person should rather be single than getting a wife like asha who takes side of a guy who slapped her hubby treated her daughter like a doormat...n now advising her daughter to take mcp's crap.. what a sensible person!🤪

If he feels so bad when ppl disrespect his mom, sona too will feel bad when he disrespect her dad(and yes he did that on a major scale twice) just like ppl said it takes two to tango. If Asha expects sona to make compromises someone should be there to show the mirror to dev as well. Making compromises alone, sona will one day break under the stress. I totally understand whatever Asha said, I don't see it having any positive influence on Devakshi relation. And I wanted sona to question dev not as his wife but as bijoys daughter. He'll I would never tolerate that kind of behaviour from anyone to my father.

Mily i can understand your frustration, the problem with the characters of Dev and sona is they cannot multi task in relations. for eg at any given point, dev can react only as ishwari's son, soha' dad or as sona's lover. same goes with sona. Dev is very impulsive in nature and speaks his mind without thinking twice. if you observe the conversation carefully, he was talking to asha just as either sona or saurabh would have spoken to her while complaining about their baba's behaviour. the remark too came out in the flow but the minute the words were spoken, both asha and dev were hit with the realisation about the status of their relationship. that's when things became awkward between both of them and asha being a matured one left dev to ponder himself and to rectify his act ( there was no ego issuesb here, but at the same time both dev and asha were hurt. dev too felt hurt for having spoken that way to asha and he was genuinely apologetic towards her)

if sona would have barged in, it would complicate the matter further. the tempers will flare and the situation would go out of control. By questioning dev or by belittling him, showing him his flaws, nothing can be achieved. instead leaving him in guilt is a better option. so far among all the bose family members the only person whom dev values the most is asha. the more dev feels guilty of hurting asha, the more he will keep himself in check the next time.

i am sure you too would agree, the only reason we all want dev to be questioned or yelled at is to make him realize that he crossed his limits . when this can be achieved in a subtle way, why do we need to resort to lashing out?

I personally feel asha with her silent treatment has achieved more in making dev realise his mistake as compared to what would have been the result had sona lashed out him

I just wanted to ask one thing.. What if sona goes to dixit house and give ishwari BP tablets? How will dev feel and react? And what will happen if bijoy thinks his ladli beti would be eating ghas phus in dixit house.. So he packs tiffin full of fish curry and takes it to dixit house for sona and soha.. How would ishwari feel and how would dev react if ishwari feels bad?

And what the heck was Asha lecturing Sona abt yesterday?

What rubbish! Is Asha in total La La land regarding Dixit house and what Sona tolerated there?

Sona compromised and tried to adjust all throughout her stay in D house after her marriage. She tried her best to please and appease those nasty people but they were determined to get rid of her by hook or crook!

Asha has a wonderful sweet sasuma and poor Sona had the worst sasuma, a completely psychotic, money obsessed, power obsessed control freak as her MIL.

Asha only had to deal with Bijoy's anger problems whereas Sona had to tolerate her sasuma's jealousy, possessiveness, GKB's and Neha's nasty taunts, Vicky's misbehavior, plus Dev's bipolar mood swings. Only Riya and Nikki were nice to her while Mamaji just paid lip service but hardly ever helped her.

If Asha had to deal with so many nasty abusive people in her sasural, which I doubt, THEN only she could give lectures how she adjusted, otherwise she has no right to lecture Sona abt adjusting when she herself must have a fair idea abt how horrible Dixit family members are. 🤢
Really very disappointed with Asha this time

@randomramblings "I personally feel asha with her silent treatment has achieved more in making dev realise his mistake as compared to what would have been the result had sona lashed out him"
I don't think Ashas's silent treatment will work. Remember how Asha stopped Sonakshi from lashing out on Dev during his birthday fiasco. Nothing really came out of it. Dev assumed that Sonakshi does not mind being ignored and continued.
I think Asha should let Sonakshi communicate because Sona knows Dev better. He really needs lessons in empathy. What's bad for his mom is just as bad for Sona's dad.

We all got to know that Dev did not realise hismistake because he was back to throwing attitude at Sona. there was no monologues or improved behaviour patterns to show that Asha's tactic worked.
In fact if Sona-Dev had a discussion it might have helped Dev in his thought process.

I personally felt Asha is very bitter about Bijoy and his behavior in their early marriage and hence does not even mind anyone bad mouthing him. Not a very loyal wife.

I do see Bijoy is very protective of Asha and mostly takes Asha's decision as the last word. He might have been cranky but is no where as selfish and ignorant of his wife's wishes as Dev was and still is.

Asha is a great mother and a very sensible woman.
I love the way they show the contrast of two mothers.
On one side we have Ishwari who is literally behaving like an illiterate dumb lady who just cant get enough of her son. She calls herself a MAAA but is ready to seperate Soha from her mummy. Woaw Jai hypocrisy.
On the Other Side there is Asha who understands every relationship to the core. Even if she doesn't understand she tries to mend it, take it to a level where every one is comfortable instead of ruining it.
Asha is a wonderful woman👏
