What is the role of this Jatin? Please do explain.

I mean he could even be called upon to help Dev wear a Dhoti? What is he doing around the house anyway?

His presence does not make Dev jealous. Soha does not bond with him more than her father. In fact Soha is totally latu over her father so quickly that even she does not need Jatin.

So why is he in the show? I asking seriously

Even Cvs r confused...kabhi separation track ya jealousy track ki zaroorat pade toh...so a standby is necessary...😎

I think he is like Salman Khan from KKHT. To make Dev get jealous and help Sonakshi and Soha before Dev was around. They can't make him leave yet all of a sudden. But I do wonder if there is a time where there is confusion and drama created in future and somehow he is used for Sona to almost marry. Like Vicky creates drama and then Ish calls lawyers. And something about unless Sona is married and Soha has a legal male dad guardian, Dev can take her away. Otherwise he is cute eye candy for us.

IKR!
he is just standing there for no reason. instead of showing these "forced" passionate scene (Totally my POV regarding the dhoti scene) they could show Jatin's bond with Suhana and Bose family and Dev understanding that what he has missed and lost in his life... and it would take time to win it all back. or probably he could be a friend to Dev to make him see sense (if thats even possible) because I always feel Dev needs to get a life outside his Mataji jaap!

Main Sona hoti toh ek dum shaadi kar leti. Oh man... seeing him do push ups. And character's personality. Talking civilly but firmly to Dev when he was being an idiot to him when he entered the house. Chilled man. And then also talking nicely to Soha. Oho. Pretty good like Ritwik. Sona has a line of great guys and stuck with pyscho ex husband.
