Its quite evident now that they are not legally divorced. The mangalsutra which Sona threw in the fire was their way of showing that the marriage is over. They did not feel the need yet for going ahead and filing the divorce. Yes, they were talking about remarriage. So they would have filed for divorce if it got fixed. Maybe that is why Dev never felt insecure because he knew Sona will file for divorce if she decides to remarry.

My thoughts are also on the similar lines if they are going to show custody drama then whether they are divorced or not will b shown.
