YHM should thank Kapil and Sunil. Because of their fight, it got back to top 10. 😆 TRP is still 2.4 though, no improvement. Fresh newbies like Swabhiman and Shani have gone ahead of this show. And, what is to say about YHM's once distant competitor YRRKH...massive 3.3 TRP...miles ahead.

Amul sa re ga ma pa (5461,trp 2.5) and KSS(5392,trp 2.4) are also ahead of YHM impression wise

YHM is out of the top 10 again this week. Very disappointing to know that YHM always had constant trps but now it is out of the league for so many weeks. The show had so much potential but because of favouritism it has gone now down the drain. The reason why shows like KKB are doing well is because the focus has always been on the leads other than that the show has no plot.

The main problem with YHM is that the focus is not on the leads anymore. DIVAN and Ishra are the USP of the show. This is what made the show popular. Unfortunately the makers cannot get over their obsession for Anita and Pavitra. With Anita at least it is understandable because she is Ekta's best friend but why give Nidhi so much screen space. She has literally ruined the show. Even Shagun's character has got so much importance. Every other guy is opposite her. From Ashok to Raman to Manor and now Mani. How many chances will she get? She has committed so many sins but yet she is forgiven each and every time. There was no need for a leap in the show. That is ruined everything because the focus was on the other characters and not on Ishra. The leap could have been avoided with showing Raman having memory loss and going back in time when he loved Shagun and then falling in love with ishita again. That was the route taken in KKB and that show hasn't had a major leap and is still going strong in TRPs. I am afraid with the dipping trps the show will end soon because divyanka's current focus is NB whilst Karan seems least interested.

The shows which are ruling the trp charrts have no great content, but they show what audience look forward for.

In yhm, casting anita as shagun is the biggest drawback, once a side character, but now gets an important role to play in each and every track. What's worse is, her character sketch alters like never before on Indian tv. If anyone watches yhm with a gap of weeks to months, then they would go mad to witness such a love and caring attitude unfolding between sautens.

Cvs don't have guts to let shagun carry the track on her shoulders, instead they let her hide behind leads and make sure she gets best costumes and ample screen space.

This is nothing but to let her remain in the show by hook and crook.

Audience lost hope. Last week the trust and love shown between the leads was fantastic, vandu death mystery also didn't grab trps.

I don't see any good future for this show.

Oh! TRP of KSS and the other show weren't there from where I collected the data. That's why I thought Kapil's show's TRP would be less.I guess it was about fiction shows only. Looks like, YHM is out of top 10 once again. 😆

No love lost for Shaggy here neither gained...but I believe in the spirit of fair is fair and so will just say this that I dont think Anita, Pavitra or even the trip to Indonesia should be blamed here.

If YHM is now behind Rishta, it is because the focus of the show ha been on the never ending nuptials of the NEW LEADS of the show and the ample promotion Star has done for the same. People love watching weddings in shows for some reason and the track guarantees a boost in ratings regardless of the show and when the marriage is between the LEADS, this was bound to happen. This trend shall continue for the show for more time because now the post marriage rituals, first holi after marriage and the Honeymoon trip abroad is bound to happen and knowing Shahi he will take them abroad dunno where though but this is guaranteed.

If a new shows like Shani is doing well while competing with KKB the slot leader and number one daily it is because it is offering something NEW too for the audiences, the saga of one of mythology's most feared characters though he is misunderstood and the fine performance of the child who plays the titular role plus the VFX.

Haven't watched Swabhimaan so cant say what they have been doing right but they are new and it is something that works in their favor ONLY if they are managing to do something that makes the audience love them.

YHM has been going around in circles for long and the onus of that is also because unlike Sony, Zee and Colors; Star plus doesnt relax its schedule and makes the show air 7 days a week, which they dont. Those shows air for 5 days a week - 2 episodes less and while it may seem like nothing but in the long run if you calculate it, it is 2*4*12= 96.

That's almost a 100 episodes less a year to air!

Imagine that for a minute..

YHM also doesn't have much in terms of parallel leads or supporting cast nowadays which it earlier did with Mihir Mihika, Bala Vandu, the parents - Mr & Mrs Bhalla and Mr & Mrs Iyer, hell even Ashok Shaggy and Simi Param; aside from IshRaRu, the 3 principal characters.

Now...Vandu is dead, Mihir is off touring, Simi as well - the parents are reduced to morons and nuisance as and when needed. Param is forgotten.

The pairing of Mihika and Romi as well as Adi Alu dont work half as well as Bala Vandu. There's less of RD as Pihu and any track which stresses on Ruhi now is a goner even before it takes off...

This dead cow has been solely running on the shoulders of DivAn alone...but even they need something which can capture the fancy of the audience. The writers need to infuse some new life into this show.

SNS keeps introducing new characters and plot twists, asinine as they are and will be to bring some freshness to the fossil that is that show...

So if this show is even getting the numbers it is now - it is something to be thankful about rather than crib.

4 years is a long time. People change. Their priorities change. Karan wants to get himself in good projects, preferably big banner movies. Divyanka wants to secure her husband's career as it's a tough place for married actresses aging over thirty. They are bang on with their choices. Even Anita has opened an e-commerce business venture as an alternative if I'm not wrong.
