I wasn't going to comment today but couldn't help after reading the WU and realized how this story morphed into highlighting the importance of birth mother, her upbringing and her genes aka Shagun and her genes and her upbringing.
The story now totally focuses on the characteristics of Shagun as shown in Ruhi today while she is eyeing the MD chair... she is a total representation of Shagun and Nidhi a deadly combination I must say. The little Ruhi a gentle soul who accepted Ishita as her mother and come to her rescue is long gone and replaced by with this obnoxious, arrogant, ill mannered, self absorbed and self centered person that is totally unrecognizable.
So when it comes to highlight Ruhi and Adi it all turned out its blood relationships (which are Raman and Shagun) as Raman pointed out to Ishita during the Ruhi jail fiasco and now parental genes (once again Shagun's) and when it comes to Pihu it's all about upbringing which was done by Shagun. So where are Ishita and her role as a parent here? For the past few days of episodes pretty much highlight what is Ishita's role when it comes to her family and her husband. She neither has the respect that she deserves as a wife or mother from Raman nor consideration as a daughter from Iyers.
The way the track is closed starting with Vandu accident no I take it back... starting from the capture of the international criminal Gulabo who avoided from getting caught and no one has a clue of his picture with the help of simple text from Pihu (I wonder how this stupid of a character escaped from getting captured even from international community's is a wonder) to Vandu's accident track and Nidhi's capture with the help of mirchi powder is quite amusing. And the next track started already with Party in YHM and all are playing best buddies and the bestest family. Looks like Vandu's death and the sorrow and grieving period all done in two days? Is there a small leap that we are not aware of like 3 months later or something? Because how can a family forget a daughter, a mother, a sister and a wife who was killed in a brutal way after two days is beyond me.
Now coming back to Raman's disappearance with a big fat secret that will devastate Ishita, where is he? His self talk in the room doesn't make any sense as to why he wants to run away? Also, when he told Ishita that he didn't kill Vandu but did he also say he knew who killed her either with her or during his self talk? If he knows the killer why not tell that to Ishita and why take the blame on to him? I didn't know that Raman has feelings for Nidhi also that he is ready to go to jail for her. He is shown to take the blame on to himself without being blackmailed is totally baffling.
And now as the new track started showing with siblings ugly fighting with Ruhi eyeing the MD seat really left a bad taste in my mouth. Raman still young and hale and hearty and fully capable of running this company for another 20+ years without thinking of retirement, but here Ruhi is ready to send him into retirement. However I must say both Raman and Ishita failed as parents. Maybe that's the message YHM trying to dish out. By the time kids grow up the parents generally start to work as one unit, but here both Raman and Ishita still trying to sort out the differences in their relationship and there is lot of ugliness to what's been going on between them as husband and wife. So the result is one dysfunctional family that no one wants it for sure. So in one word YHM became so toxic that there is nothing to enjoy any more. And I am sure there are more twists wait for us as Raman's secret is going to add one more layer of ugliness to this toxic mess.
Million Dollar question: does Mani know where his wife Shagun is and what her condition is?
