Vedant arrives home and sees a strange person lurking there. He gives chase, and looks in the woods around the house. There is no one to be seen. But there is another person hiding there, watching Vedant: Aarti! When a disgruntled Vedant goes into the house, she watches from behind a tree as a man in a black cape and hood (scary!) passes in front of her. She looks shocked.
Vedant meets Vasu as he enters. He tells her that a strange man has been trying to get into the house. She tries to soothe him and asks him not to worry Shreya. When he leaves, she starts thinking that he mustn't know all the strange things that are happening in the house. Just then her phone rings. The caller isn't shown to us. Vasu asks him why he is calling. The caller asks her to meet him, and leave her phone at home. She exits.
Shreya is close to panic. She is sure that Sid is alive. They close all the windows. Naina closes the door too. Shreya asks her why she did that. Naina says that whoever took Sid's clothes, hadn't come through the window. He might have come through the door. Just then, there is a knock at the same door. The girls shiver. Shreya calls out, "who's there?" in terrified voice. Vedant demands that they open the door. When they let him in, he tells them that there is someone around the house and they shouldn't take any risks.
After Ved goes, the girls decide it's high time they tell Vasu what is happening. They go downstairs but can't find her. Shreya tries to call her. But Vasu's phone starts ringing inside the house itself. Shreya picks it up and is annoyed that di is gone and that too without her phone.
Meanwhile, Vasu is confronting the hooded figure. He raises a gun at her. She says that she had always been ready to die for Shreya; why doesn't he fire….
When they go into the study, they find to their shock that the chest (which held the evidence) has been ransacked. They are bewildered and go back to their room. There, they find to their horror that a message has been left in blood for them on the mirror: "I WILL KILL YOU, SHREYA AND NAINA". Shreya screams that Sid is alive and is out to kill them. A servant arrives with a parcel for Shreya. They see the greeting and stare in shock: it has been written in blood. When they open it, they find that it contains all the evidence like the wine bottle and the tablets they had given Sid. Shreya loses control, she grabs a knife and starts rushing from one end of the room to another, screaming, "Sid I will kill you!" Naina calls the doctor to tell him. He recommends some medicine, which she gives Shreya to calm her down.
Later, an sms arrives on Vasu's phone. It says, "If you want to save Shreya then pay Rs.50 lakh, Vasudha." They send the message back to the number and..no prizes for guessing who picks it up—Vikram. He tells Vasu that now they will be convinced Sid is alive.
Meanwhile, Vedant meets Aarti. She tells him that if he keeps following her, Sandhya will keep avoiding him. He begs her to let him at least talk to her on the phone. She looks perplexed, then tries the phone and says Sandhya is not picking it up, maybe she is asleep. Vedant looks thoughtfully at her and says, do you really know Sandhya or are you just making this all up? She asks him if he doubts her, he says he does. He ventures, if Sandhya has told you so much about me, tell us when and how we first met. Aarti tells him the exact details. He is taken aback.
Later, he calls her from the hospital and apologizes. (He is there to see Vedika.) He again begs her to understand his position. She protests her innocence saying that he was doubting her, but she was telling the truth, Sandhya is really sleeping very soundly and she is unable to wake her. Just then a dead body is carried on a stretcher beside Ved. The cover flies off and he sees the face: it is Sandhya.
