In the morning sunshine streaming in from the kitchen window, Khushi stood biting her lip, staring at the blinking notification light of her cell phone. An unopened carton of orange juice was lying on the table beside her phone.

She could never have imagined that she'd have to choose between them. And yet, she had mere seconds to do it now if she really wanted to. Should she give in to passion and deadly curiosity and reply to Salman Khan? Or should she make haste and choose Arnav? The carton of orange juice beckoned to her.

No. She needed to do this. She could look at the message later. But Arnav would be out of the shower any minute now and cool juice needed pouring...

Taking a quick breath, Khushi grabbed the carton resolutely and broke open the lid as she ran out of the door.

He called out to her and she stopped instantly in response, gasping. Another notification. Another message. Was Salman Khan more important then?

She whirled around to look at the phone once more, her heart pounding wildly. Her lower lip trembled as her eyes settled on the blinking red light once more. Passion was calling out to her. Her hands balled into fists. Why were some decisions in life so difficult?

Eyes shut tight, Khushi made a quick decision. Red beat down orange and she hurried back to her phone, spilling juice over the floorboards.

Arnav inspected his shoes carefully before sliding his feet into them. Perhaps it wouldn't be his shoes this time? The trick WAS getting old. He hoped the petrol tank of his car would remain sugar-free today too. The diabetic in him always moaned in anguish at the sight of Khushi's sugar crystals pouring out of his car at the mechanic's - something that happened more times than he liked to count.

The whispered beep of his phone interrupted his painful recollections. Arnav grinned in spite of himself as he saw Lola's reply.

No, I have never played doctor.

Shame. Is Lola OPPOSED to it?

If I say no, will you do something to REMEDY the situation?

I shall have to get my TOOLS out.

How many TOOLS do you actually have?

One is enough for you, sweetheart ;)

So you do have more than one?

*clears throat*

*fidgets with coat buttons*

*sweats*

Fine! All right! One! I only have one!

Hah! I knew it. I doubt you are sufficiently EQUIPPED to REMEDY my situation, Dr. Kinky. It really is quite desperate.

But every doctor only has one?!

Perhaps multiple doctors, then?

Arnav stared at his phone, aghast.
