Why was tapsee pannu not even nominated for PINK?

I think I should have worded it better coz that's not what I meant. Lemme try explaining. IMO, not every movie has a lead, for me, some has only story as it's main lead. Like Shaitan, Ugly, Pink etc. Stories do revolve around a character but the performance takes a step back coz the story is that strong.
Whereas, movies like Bajirao have practically a 1 page plot. It's all about performance. Like most say, Priyanaka inspite of having a smaller role ended up winning more hearts in it coz her performance was that strong.

What I meant was -- Her drinking scenes do not come out natural. They look like she is trying but not getting it correct.

Am the only one probably but Tapsee and Pink both are overrated. Kriti left an impact on me wheheras I wasn't really as moved by Tapsee's character even though she was supposed do bring people to tears.

Alia's break down scene made me shed a tear or two. So yeah I will rate her better than Tapsee.

^ I agree . I was gonna write the same , in pink kirti stole the show for me , of course the other two girls were good too but not that great to be nominated for .
Just because she is an outsider doesn't mean she deserves it more than a star kid who was comparatively better . Yeah talking about alia .
For me performance matters not their xyz history .

I watched Pink. She was good but It was not an award worthy performance. But yes, by Bollywood award standards it was definitely nomination worthy. Worse performances have been nominated before her.
