I disagree a little bit about the cast though. Jenny is more or less okay as Maya - quite believable but she speaks in monotone. A little bit of voice modulation will add dimension to her acting. But absolutely adore the things she wears. Spot on for a businesswoman who is young and successful. The show badly needed a charming male lead. Kushal is a below average actor and has no charm whatsoever! It's a wonder that Maya could fall for someone like that. And Maya and ARjun hardly have any chemistry and that makes it difficult for me to watch their romantic scenes. Anyway these are strictly my POVs. All said and done, the show is still pretty watchable.

And it's just plain and simple juvenile how some fans are asking for a storyline change, coz they want a run of the mill love story. The show was always supposed to be about a mentally unstable person who is obsessive and dangerous. Why should it change? And the threats about making it go off air - I can only laugh! 😆

@ bold couldnt agree more😆

I signed up for a show that came with the tagline 'hadd se jyada kuch bhi acha nahi, pyaar bhi nahi'. Definitely not a typical love story. They are dime a dozen. And the best part about the show is Maya's character... when most TV shows follow a typical character sketch for FLs, it's nice to see the journey of a character with a different character sketch.

I signed up for a dark thriller where all the conventional limits would be crossed in love or more rightly obsession. The line, "Hadh se zyaada kuch bhi acha nahi hota hai, pyaar bhi nahi." is why I signed up. And I'm happy that the cvs are showing what they promised to show.

I am a big fan of dark thrillers and grey/anti-heros and heroine thats why I watch Beyadh. I like the concept but the makers are doing a bad job when it comes to story but I want to see how they are gonna end Maya's character by healing her properly or sending her to the asylum 🤔. I like its first promo and tagline" hadh se zyaada kuch bhi accha nai hota, pyaar bhi nai..." .

I signed up for this show as it has promised that it will be different from other shows. Undoubtedly, JW has really nailed as Maya. She is a magic who can play any role. This show has promised a suspense and a thriller in which Maya will be a heroine cum vamp. Making her negative is not a problem but if she is made like that with the mental disability, that raises empathy. I have never expected this from the creatives. It is hard to say that she is a vamp. If a girl child is abused by her own father. Nothing can be more painful than that. She would obviously crave for the love which she has never got. Whoever has come in her life has given her nothing but pain starting from her dad to her husband. a black character is the one who is simply bad without any reason. They would find pleasure in giving pain to others. Maya is a baby in that respect who does not know what is good & what is bad. She does not know what is true love all about because she hasn't experienced it. A real villain does not take pain but gives pain. He/she can think about getting what they want forcefully despite knowing what is right & what is wrong. Maya has done a lot of mistakes. I don't deny at all. but she did most of them without knowing what is right & what is wrong. A mistake that has been committed unknowingly or without knowing its implications is not a mistake. She has not got any guidance but a real negative role does it with all their conscious. If Maya has been abused throughout her life, it is time for her to get justice. The society treats the patients with mental issues, treat them with contempt. If Maya has to get punished, it means giving victory to the tormentor despite all the atrocities they have committed. They are left scot-free. If Maya does not get a happy ending, it means Ashwin has got the trophy. He gets a clean chit from the other characters though he has tortured his family. When they can give him a clean chit, why can't Maya get justice? Why can't she get a good endgame?
