The tax department doesn't charge a penalty? Here we are penalized for not paying quarterly, it's hard for me to believe the Indian government wouldn't penalize crores in late taxes. It's not worth it in America because once the IRS starts penalizing you they also start auditing you and really scrutinizing your tax returns😡

No, I think the entire tax amount isn't technically due. This is the "advance tax"

Ps. Priyanka will have to pay US taxes... how would it work for her?
