This co-parenting n idea of living in Bose n then Dixit house is fine if they cleared some basic misunderstandings first.

First n foremost...As per Bose fam, Dev was responsible for throwing them on road n taking over their house, its not a small thing to overlook..this was kinda final nail in the coffin for Dev n Sona separation n even Asha was supportive of Sona fulfilling a daughter's responsibilities. Then how can they let Dev come n live in their house even if its for Soha. Shudnt they explain to 6yr old Soha that it wud not be possible...Soha can easily stay 8days in Bose house n then 8days in Dixits place with the respective parent.

Even Dev remember Bose fam house bought by Ish Ent n Bose fam ousted from their home. Knowing Dev...he wud hv rectified this situation the very next day or wud hv atleast tried to help them. Can he really expect Bijoy n Bose fam to forget everything without any apology from his side and live in the same house without any reflection on his action or inactions.

Sona living in Dixit house n giving befitting replies to the likes of Ish, Gkb n Vicki is the second step. First step for Sona is to forget that she was told to leave the house twice. I want to see some serious thinking from Sona before agreeing to do this as the stakes are really high. You just can't erase the past. Just not realistic bt maybe good for tv drama.

What are they going to do after16 days...repeat the cycle? Soha wud see bad temper of Bijoy n Sona always in confrontation mode vs overly understanding father and loving grandmother Ish.

Aswarthy, Sonakshi always believed in fairness. Gauri pointed out today that the very thing Dev mocked Sonakshi for (Being a Feminist), he should thank her for. Only a feminist who believes in equality would agree to this solution.

I think there are two advantages of this situation (I am still against children manipulating parents).

1. Soha will know exactly why Dev and Sona can't be together as you also mentioned. As you know that Bijoy is rude upfront. But Ishwari is underhanded and cunning which Soha won't realise without seeing how she behaves with her mother. So having Sona with her will open her eyes to the situation in both houses.

And

2. Had Soha gone on rotation to Dev's house without Sona, Radha, Vicky and Ishwari could have brainwashed her. We know very well that Ishwari definitely had that intention. Now Sona can remind Ishwari that her interference won't be tolerated because Soha's mother is around.

Another thing is that they made rules that during stay over at each other's family home, the other family member won't be allowed to drop in. By breaking the rule in the first stay, Ishwari opened door for Sona's family to drop in as well.

Lavanya made a great argument. Today Ishwari dropped in with food without knowing that Bijoy didn't serve vegetarian food to Dev. But what if Bijoy hadn't done what he did? What if Asha did cook all vegetarian cuisine for Dev? Then what Ishwari did today would have been highly insulting.

Sorry, if a non-vegetarian person can't walk into someone else's house with food stating dietary preference, then a vegetarian person can't walk into someone else's house with the same excuse.

I'd have much preferred if Dev politely asked Ishwari to go home with her food. He will manage here. And also asked her to stay away until when they are back home. And later may be Sonakshi and Asha could make food for him and Soha could feed him Asha's famous Aloo Posto which he used to love.

But by taking Ishwari's food, Dev opened the door for Ishwari to drop in with more excuses. Now no one can complaint if Bijoy Bose does the same in Dev's house. All efforts to reach a peaceful solution will be lost then.

I think this track is for drama sake.I m sure both the families will interfere in each other's houses.I am sure after this ghar ghar drama there is going to be a big bomb blast and then everything will be back to square one.Also might they might get a glimpse of their lives post their separation.
