As cute and innocent as Rudra is you wish for his love story to be equally so, and the little taste we have gotten of the real dessert that awaits us in the future did not disappoint! It was deliciously sweet with the slightest of hints of a bitter aftertaste - mainly created due to the fact that these two instantly connected through a similar form of pain. The pain of having lost an older brother and the pain of being on the brim of losing your brother. We do hope, sincerely so, that their story will have a healthy dose of bitter angst and hurt!
Soumya saw Rudra sitting on the hospital floor in front of a Ganpati statue, crying and in pain, and felt her heart go out to this complete stranger. The kind soul that she is, she reached out to him with a bottle of water, indulged him when he asked for a black coffee instead and even offered her paratha to him. She listened when he poured out his heart to her, and opened up about the scars marring her own soul in return. You could feel the purity of these two in this scene, who innocently shared their feelings with someone they didn't know but felt were good human beings.
And the moment Soumya became Rudra's angel: When she gave him a thread that belonged to her brother to tie on Shivaay's wrist for protection, and assured him with a sweet smile on her lips that his brother will be fine. Soumya and Rudra are similar in many ways, the most glaring trait they share: wanting to make others' smile. And our Soumya even left a lasting impression on Bhaiyya and O - whether due to her utterly endearing behavior like singing for Shivaay and caring for him or due to the confusion about her gender and angelic tendencies, is another question completely. Fact is, she would blend wonderfully into the lives of the Obros.
Who said that only opposites attract? Their dynamics seem like a fresh breath of air, right now. Sweet. Adorable. Innocent.
Though, unfortunately, we had a phase and it might still be on-going, to a certain extent, where these two could not stand each other. It started with Rudra denying that he knew Soumya in college due to peer pressure - and when Soumya, the grand-daughter of dadi's best friend, came to live with them in O mansion, she did the same to him. These childish game escalated somewhat when Soumya wanted to take revenge for what Rudra had done... Though, at the moment they seem like friends, again.
Right now, their marriage track is going on and it seems as if Rudra Baby is falling first for her!
Rudra "Angel summoning" Singh Oberoi, played by Leenesh Mattoo, is the youngest of the Ishqbaazi Oberoi brothers who are conquering the small screen with their brilliant Bromance. He is a carefree spirit, takes life as it comes and doesn't burden himself with responsibilities. With a funny shayree always on his tongue, cute expressions donned and silly antics up his sleeves he has wormed his way into the hearts of many a viewer - who are never too sure whether to gush over his adorableness or pull his cheeks at every opportunity they get, or do both.
He is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy and lightens up the screen whenever he appears on it. Deep down he seems to be craving attention whether that be in the presence of multiple girlfriends, through one of his antics or by the side of his brothers - the latter which definitely enjoys most. Since childhood, Shivaay and Omkara have shielded Rudra from all the darkness that loomed over their lives, and fruits of their hard work was Rudra vibrant and innocent personality that manages to light up their own lives every time.
Though, we are yet to explore his more vulnerable sight. When Shivaay was on the brim of death, Rudra poured out his heart to a complete stranger - but he hasn't done anything like this with either of his brothers, yet. Even after Omkara's overdose, which had hit him hard, he kept silent about how he was feeling, let his brothers deal with their current demons and jumped in to cast a smile on both their faces. Maybe he believes that as long as he stays happy, he can bury the pain away. Maybe he doesn't want to bother his brothers' with his own feelings, knowing fully well what they have been doing for him all these years and how they are struggling with their own problems. Maybe smiling is the best medicine he knows to apply to others and himself.

Leenesh Mattoo was born on November the 13th 1991 in Mumbai, India. Although, he completed his studies in engineering, he had always wanted to become an actor. The chance to act on the small screen was given to him in his debut show Suhaani Si Ek Ladki on StarPlus wherein he played the role of Anuj Birla, the youngest of the three Birla boys and husband of Menka Birla, one of the vamps albeit, a very dense and ignorant one. The role itself was a side character and more often than not neglected by the CVs and if not, then mainly portrayed as a one-dimensional character. The potential was never fully used.
Now, Leenesh is starring as one of the three leads in Ishqbaaaz, Rudra Singh Oberoi, the carefree spirit who believes in enjoying life to the fullest and the doted youngest Oberoi brother. Leenesh's superb acting as Rudra, be it the various facial expressions from childish pouts to mischievous smiles or rhythmically wriggling eyebrows, be it the enacting of emotions from happiness to chagrin, melodramatic bravado to real, raw pain and vulnerability, and just the simple molding into the shell of the youngest Oberoi son, is making the viewers love Rudra more and more with each passing day.
Just like his characters from his shows, Leneesh loves working out in real life, as well. He himself says that if he could, he would spend 24*7 in a gym. Though, whether he is as mischievous as Rudra off-screen remains to be seen - as of yet, he has been rather demure in interviews with Nakul and Kunal though, his sweet smile is never missing!
Soumya, portrayed by talented actress Neha Lakshmi Iyer, had her first appearance in the show on July th 2016 in the hospital where Shivaay was admitted after being poisoned. She entered the scene with a smile and disappeared by leaving a smile on the viewers' faces and a hopeful glimmer sparked inside of Rudra. She is a sweet and bubbly kind of girl we all would love to befriend in school.
Her heart goes out to a complete strange whom she sees crying on the hospital floor, and without a second thought she approaches him. She listens to him open up to her in a moment of vulnerability, allowing her own wounds to be aggravated by the sheer pain and fear that this boy feels upon the possibility of losing his older brother. Soumya, too, has gone through the tragedy of losing her older brother, she knows how it feels and thus, wants to give hope to someone whom she understands.
Furthermore, she also rushes into the lives of the other Oberoi brothers like a breath of fresh air. She comes, distributes black coffee and a sandwich, befuddles and amuses through her liveliness, lightens up the mood with a sweet song and vanishes as quickly as she appeared, leaving behind a vibrancy of positivity.

Neha Lakshmi Iyer, born on November 8th 1991, had started her acting career very early at the age of six. She has been seen in various shows ever since going from Banegi Apni Baat, Hum Paanch to Na Aana Iss Desh Laado, Sassural Simar ka to Qubool Hai. Most famously known is her character Najma of Qubool Hai who was the younger sister of the male protagonist Asad, and whom Asad lovingly called his tomatar.
Now, she is starring as Soumya in Ishqbaaz who will be seen opposite Leenesh Matto as Rudra Singh Oberoi. Although Soumya has had only two scenes till now, these scenes have already touched the hearts of the viewers and sparked an instant liking of her character. Her entry was a simple, sweet one and we are waiting to see more of Rudra's angel soon!
In real life, Neha is a little adventure seeker. She likes to push herself out of her comfort zone and to feel the adrenaline rush. "It's like adventure pumps life into me," she admitted in an interview. Hence, why she has already tried all kinds of sport from rappelling to skiing, mountain biking, parasailing and a lot more.

Report - If you see anyone breaching the rules in any of the threads in the main forum, you will not come here and rant it out about it and snowball the issue further! Instead make use of the "REPORT" button and report the thread by stating the reason clearly. As soon as the Dev Team comes online they would take the necessary action.
We can assure you guys that we only takes action where it's legit reason. However, here is a little catch for the stalkers who just want to report in order to get the AT closed down - If you report any post/comments that has no legit reason, you will be reliable for action against you for stalking.
Penalties: If the DT sees more than 3 people breaking the AT rules constantly for a week, the effects of violations will kick start, which go as follows:
First Violation - Warning Note
2nd - Another Warning Note
3rd - Another Warning Note
4th - Close the AT for 24 hrs (1 Day)
5th - Close AT for 72 hrs (3 Days)
6th - Close AT for 1 week (7 Days)
7th - Get rid of AT completely from the DBO Forum/Shift it to Celebrity Fan Club Forum!
The rules are applicable for multiple violation and not single post as it will be dealt individually! Having said that, please do not assume that every report submitted by opposite fan group will be entertained. We will go through the reports and only if we find the report valid based on above rules, then we will speak to the Admins of the AT and action will be taken accordingly as stated above.
