After your friends get married normally you invite their spouse too when you go out. Sometimes you catch up alone. But you don't "Lie" to your spouse about it.

That is why ALL the justifications given for Saanjh's and Arjun's actions don't wash with me. I am by no means a possessive wife and neither is my husband controlling. But I know I nor he, would tolerate what Arjun and Saanjh did in the restaurant or at the holi party etc. That was beyond cheap.

To me they were dead wrong, and Maya had every right to be upset. Even Suman could see it, because she is a married woman too. I am sure she knows how she would feel if Prem acted with another woman the way Arjun was acting with Saanjh. I was cringing and I am not a prude. I grew up in a western country and used to a liberal way of life and thinking. But what is cheap is cheap no matter how progressive you are!
