JNDSD~ My take~ Saturday 19.3.17 ~ Faint reminders

Guddi finds the unseen veiled Vividha's mannerism's rather familiar , which may be a hunch giddy Guddi gets, does she know this chatty nomad from somewhere?. Going with the flow, for Vividha, Guddi's name too serves as a muffled reminder of someone closely related to her. One no more now, she recalls her sister. A brief, intuit .. almost a touch and go scene, to create suspense. Vividha gets to work on her mission right away finds out the route to Atharv and Guddi's room, so she can respond to Guddi's call. If only Guddi can respond to Vividha's need. Pity avarice can distant two by all manners of blood ties.

Ravish at the manual chaff cutter scene comes across as one, in place of where Atharv was. Like Atharv wrestled with pressing issues, we have a replay instead, of Ravish trying to digest small doses churning around like the wheel of the machine.. spinning out Vividha's tough reminders! regarding Madhav as her son! over and over in his mind. General insecurity of her going to Delhi alone to meet Atharv consumes him within too. Sujata's mind too like the chaff cutter spins when she too gets bogged down by the fact that if Atharv loved Vividha , then why did he marry someone else? Her mother's intuition kicks in and she suspects, there's more to her sons's marriage...much more, she reminds herself.

Sujata, to me, epitomizes the sincere maternal instinct in a woman. The manner in which she supports Ravish is no less than how a mother in law supports her son in law. Extra regard and acknowledgement is given for Ravish's silent stoicism. It may also be triggered by how her son Atharv let down Vividha.Sujata cannot but help compare and laud Ravish's stamina and perseverance with that of Atharv's weakness and feebleness that he showed in abandoning Vividha on their wedding day. Sujata felt she needed to assure Ravish that Vividha's trip to Delhi was for madhav's sake and far from an effort to meet Atharv . Ravish too gets the chance to say it the way it was.. Vividha was prompted to go, so he let her! and that he trusts Vividha completely. In return for his faithfulness ,Ravish receives a proud mother's blessing, for gaining a rich harvest in god's appointed time, as a return for all that Ravish gives! Sujata strongly reminds him.

Vividha is not one to waste time she reminds herself she's here to complete a task. Madhav dressed as a girl ,is a soft reminder of being her boy Friday. Again the collection of DNA samples are presented as a child centred bear hunt. The task is made exciting as a game. Where the rules are that Madhav has to use his problem solving skills to seek certain named items from Atharv's room. He has to use his sense of logic and direction , to hunt for grumpy's tooth brush ,hair brush and some of his leftover food! Madhav's, sense of reasoning and concentration in a given task gives him great results , he finds all that he came for! On to victory with winning points!

Luck seems to smile at Vividha, a positive reminder! While Madhav carries on with his sample collection. She ends up in the kitchen .. confronted with Atharv doing his chef activities.. From underneath her veil she is presently asked to chop up jackfruit in preparation for the dish he was cooking.. she stole glances at him and the windows of their past too opened up silently soft reminders, of those times when he cooked.. the same talk he talked about women empowerment and an independency in women! If only she could bellow in his face..Atharv ! she is that woman who is bringing up your son rather her son independently.. she nearly chops off her finger! Well she nearly got it right partly.. for there is Ravish too helping her in bringing up her son!!

Her cut finger! His helping her dip it in water.. experiencing a cool refreshment to his soul.. the sound of the old melody.. depart not from my soul ripples into his ears out of nowhere.. he wants to see the face under the veil..that evoked a faint memory of her ..vividha.. but then he turns away.. he respects this veiled woman's custom and practice.. Vividha wonders under the veil.. he is still the same, likes jackfruit curry, talks his equal opportunities talk.. yet he left her on the big day. Atharv is different , married happy.. yet in many ways he is the same..

Mission accomplished! Game won ,items bagged little champion does a runner! Then collision with the last person he wanted to see Suman! The evil one recognises madhavi.. for who he really is! Vividha hears his call and the game is nearly up!

Madhav falls from the stairs, an uncomfortable reminder, of how his father Atharv fell years ago! But the blessed Madhav falls into his father's arms! But as if the deities destined it somehow both of Madhav's parents hold him to ensure he's fine. His act of pilfering is treated lightly when he says he was playing a game, which seemed plausible, as the stolen goods were insignificant items. Moreover Madhav's mother apologetically tells all, that his maternal grandmother teaches him these games.. but. Atharv is more concerned , if the child is hurt.. inadvertently his palms brush against Vividha's hands as he felt Madhav's face.. again.. an out of the ordinary feeling passed between Vividha , Atharv ..and Madhav ..? a faint reminder of what was..

Nothing escapes Suman's feline eyes..she has her suspicions about the true identities of these vagabonds ! they are strong reminders! Of two undesirables. She phones her son Ravish ,wants to know what is Vividha doing in Delhi? Unsuspectingly he tells her Madhav is due to have tests and Vividha needs to collect DNA samples! however Ravish too is surprised how comes she knows Vividha is in Delhi ? .. Suman hastily covers herself and waffles on.. maybe Uma mentioned it to her! Suman has a pressing problem Vividha in the same house Atharv .. she has to go! No two ways about it

The gods sure do work in mysterious ways ! they serve us encouraging reminders of staying strong! On Atharv's behest Vividha takes her child to her room to rest. Bad enough her sample collection exercise is messed up!they were planning to leaving tonight ..now it seems she will need to stay longer.. does this mean that Ravish will come after them, sick with worry.? if he does he just might see his mother in Delhi instead of being at the hermitage! Will he be reminded of the strong words Vividha used for his mother?

The feel of her hand spreads across every vacuum of his heart , mind and soul.. the touch felt known, recurring like the melody..depart not from my soul ..his perplexed spirit wonders..

For me an interesting episode.. great scenes, Sujata Ravish , Atharv ,Vividha brush pasts..and narrow escapes for Vividha.. not sure if Madhav told his mum who he collided with..looks like Suman's phone call to Uma fluke will be uncovered.. before Ravish .will Suman succeed in kicking mother andson from vashist household. Have a good week ahead.. love hammie

Hey Hammie :)

Your title was so apt for the episode. The viewers as well as VITHARV constantly kept acquiring faint reminders to remind them of their past.

I was thoroughly disappointed in Sujata, because by stating Ravish was the son of whom she was proud of, meant her own upbringing was rubbish and that the sacrifice her own blood made believing he was dying was worthless. As a mother you are not to differentiate between your children and to watch Sujata claiming the son of the woman who is abusing and torturing her son, is the son she is proud of, served as nothing but a nauseating pill for the audiences who have been there with the show since day one.

I love how you have described the VITHARV scene, the usage of this line *cool refreshment to his soul* is wonderful.

The truth cannot be kept hidden for long as such Suman's Hyde's personality is coming to the fore through her own mistakes. She is truly an intelligent and cunning villain as she straight away recognized the boy behind the disguise.

This is so beautifully described hammie.i loved love loved the way u have shown the chaff cutter scene n sujata ravish dialogues.sujata isnt a mother in law to ravish, she is a true mother, cz she values relationships.i love this character sujata.someone whose character never needs ur words of justification.a simple viewer can see she is nice n sensible n kind hearted and not so impulsive.she understands n knows how to react n when.
Keeo writing hammie, koi to hain who actually knows how to celebrate a storyline.wish the script writer meets u.he would b in shock for someone could see things d way he too never saw.

I feel sujata's heartfelt blessings will not go waste. Ravish deserves this kindness from sujata. You described beautifully how the simple act of cutting grass can be read. It is like Kamal hasan's cutting wood in Saagar. Physical activity to vent out feelings.

you must forgive me mate.. missed all those bits,my only peek into their bond,friendship,love.. is through FB's.. but me is looking forward to hoped revivals..

For me the scene was weighed down with dramatic irony.. we know what treatment suman is giving her son Atharv Sujata is unaware.. Sujata takes Raivish's present morose situation into account.. and wants him to know his good deeds are valued.. I recall it was Sujata who gave away vividha in marriage to ravish., as such I found the scene caring on her part.. especially so ,since sujata knows she is not suman's fav person.. i suppose since I am a fairly new member here.. with not enough background information to the story line or characters.. I may have upset many members.. which I regret.. a llittle knowledge is a dangerous thing..😊..

to me those big bold eyes were a big dead give away underneath the red bows!😆 as for suman, right youare mate she is making far to many mistakes.. frayed nerves! thanks julie for sharing your differing view.. makes your comment even more interesting to read.. Hammie shall wait for JNDSD to repeat on starplus channel where I can watch the serial from the beginning.. all the good bits I missed out on... keep 😊.. and lets continue to watch the story .. love hamme
