Hi friends,

I disappeared from this forum for almost 2 months.
Sorry dears for leaving you all like that and especially this FF.
I was two busy in my life and moreover I became a bookworm during these period.

Hope you all are doing well.
Was missing those interactions we had in this forum!
Hope to be regularly here!

Will be updating this FF tomorrow!
And I will try to update this regularly (once in a week or once in two weeks as I'm a little bit busy in my work).

See you guys tomorrow!

Part : 8 Friendship to Love?

When I was in the kitchen preparing dinner, I heard the bell ring! Knowing very well the person at the door, I asked her to come in as it was open.

"Hi!" she said coming towards the kitchen.
"Evening!" I said peeking out of the work I was doing and I remarked she was wearing a simple white salwar which looked nice on her. I felt strange as it was the first time The Suraj Rajvanshi was looking at someone's appearance.

"Never knew you can cook this well!" with a smile while tasting the panner butter masala all ready to serve.
"For your kind information, I love Panner Butter Masala! I can even beat the best chef in this world with it!" << Except the first few times which was disastrous! >> wanted to add it, but no what will she think of me.
"Can see that with these different country maps you are trying to do!" pointing to the chapathis I made, she continued "This one looks like Spain and this one is France!" pointing to the chapathis on the plate "And this one I think is Mickey! I thought you only know to make maps but you made cartoon characters too. Great, your future family will be lucky to have full on entertainments in kitchen."
"Stop it!" I tried to yell but went as a pleading which gained a silent atmosphere for few seconds before turning into thunder of laughter.

After few minutes of laughter therapy, I put the last chapathi on the pan thinking it has been ages that I didn't laugh like that, and the last time I was like that was
"Do you want any help?" she broke the chain of my thoughts.
"No! Just this one is left!" pointing to the pan on the stove.
"I will get the table ready!" she wasn't asking but informing me.
"No probs!" and she went towards the dining table with necessary dishes in her hands.

After few minutes, I was still in kitchen when the current went off and I heard her "Oh no! Suraj, I'm near the table, where are the candles?"
"On the third shelve to your left inside the box on the right corner! Wait I will come with a torch!"
When I stepped out of the kitchen, she screamed "Got it!" like a small kid in joy "Wait there, I will bring one for you!"
"No need I finished here, just going to get the dishes!"
"But" I didn't let her speak more.
"There is an emergency light in kitchen, I have turned it on, it will just take few seconds to attain its capacity." saying that I went back from where I came, not before hearing her exclaim
"Oh!"

I took the prepared dishes and went to table to find Chakor missing, when I turned around I saw her near the sofa lightening a candle.
"Chakor, come let's have dinner!"
"Just a second!" saying that she turned towards me holding a candle.

Her face was glowing in the dim light of candle.
I felt something different inside me happening.
I felt mesmerized by her shinning eyes. Can I feel like that, no way! I slapped myself in my imaginary world. My foot kept on moving towards her. Once near her, my right hand went up to her cheek and caressed it with my thumb. "This sensation is new, this feeling is different, I like it, no I love it!" was my inner voice talk. I noticed that she has closed her eyes, I sensed she was shivering under my touch. I hold her face gently with both my hands and approached my face near her when she screamed "Ahaaa!"

I opened my eyes that I had closed, I realized that I was still standing near the table while Chakor was on the sofa. My imagination! I felt ridiculous! How can I think of a friend like that! I bashed myself in my imaginary world and went near her.

Then when I asked her what happened she explained me she was searching for her phone when unexpectedly she hurt herself due to the melting of the candle.

After few minutes of chatting and kidding, we had our dinner all the while talking about random things like university, upcoming events, our siblings... Inside me, I was signing to myself "Just friend and nothing else!", but my inner voice mocked at me saying "Having candle light dinner and telling just friend! Not bad!"

I didn't want to listen to it, so I shut it using my mantra from then on.

We finished our dinner and luckily current came back by the time we seated to continue our chitchat. And the day finish around 10:30 with a happy note on our new found friendship.

The next day, our siblings came back and our routine started by the ending of the week-end.

Days passed and changes happened.
Preparation for inter-university event started parallel to all the trainings and rehearsals.
We went out sometimes, we mean Vivaan, Imli, Chakor and me and not as my inner voice think. Sometimes for walking, shopping, caf...

It's a different life when we have a friend, yeah just a friend.

And finally the D-day arrived and our university topped in most of the activities and came 1st. Happy is small to compared to the joy in our father's voice when he learned about the victory. He wanted to meet Chakor and I promised him to bring her one day.

In order to feel our victory, we celebrated it in our way, in a restaurant and cinemas after a small meeting to congratulate all the participants.

There was a couple contest where Imli & Vivaan participated in the restaurant. They were given a paper separated in 2 columns: one for themselves and other for their partner.

All the participants went near the small stage kind of setup where chairs were arranged on either sides of the stage, separating the couples for few minutes of game.

As of us, Chakor and me, we were still seated on our places after wishing the best for Vivaan & Imli.

While the presenter was talking, my full concentration was on the reactions of Imli and Vivaan. Suddenly I hear Chakor spoke something, so I turned to face her asking her to repeat.
"We will also play it!" exclaimed Chakor as if resolving a grand mystery.
"What? This game?"
"Yes!"
"We are not " even before I finish my words, my inner voice yelled "Idiot accept it!", luckily before my mind could retort, Chakor spoke.
"Why not? We are friends, we will check how much we know about each other. Compatibility is not just for couples, it's for all kind of relationship. Even two enemies can win a compatibility test, you know. So?"
"Great idea!" my heart screamed but I just said "If you wish!"

Out of 8 question, we failed in two important questions. One was of our date of birth which we shared just after that query and the other was on the first love. There was a silence of awkwardness but we broke it on the same time "Not yet!" "Didn't happen!" and we burst in to a small laughter with unknown reasons.

Imli & Vivaan emerged as winner alongside an old couple.

Those events since few days made this day end with a beautiful note which felt like:

Life was new!
Life was fresh!
Life was happy!

The last 20 days of their life brought a new start to new feelings known or unknown to them.

Suraj still in the memories of those days, with his phone in his hand thought:
"I feel like reliving my childhood. The only problem is the war between my heart and my mind for"
"Bro" Suraj interrupted by Vivaan.

The new updated part was amazing Maithili...👏

Loved it,and my fav part...Suraj's dream,touching Chakor's face...awww,why it had to be in the dream???😡

Take your own time and update the next part,as you asked for it,i would love to see a 'jungle track',the car kharaab ho gayi types,😃

and Sukor locked in somewhere like a room or lift,for a really long time will also be a nice read...[like,hum-tum ek kamre mein band ho]...😉

some emotional out pour and some passionate scenes,I enjoy these all.😳
