Location: INFORMAL LIVINGROOM IN KHURANA OUTHOUSE
Savitri Devi, Ranjit, Krishankant, Radharani, Rishabh, Maan, Neel, Yash, Arnav, Veer, Vicky, Sid, Sameera, Gauri, Meera and Geet were all sitting with their steaming cups of tea and coffee after breakfast. Pari was going to join in later to spend time with Geet whereas Pinky could not come today due to few pending wedding ceremonies still needed to be completed by her as a new bride. Seeing everyone relaxed, Rishabh got up saying,"Hum bhaiyon ko aaj battate huye khushi hoti hai ki hum sabne Gudiya ke liye ek ladka shaadi ke liye pasand kiya hai." (We all are very happy to announce that we've chosen a bridegroom for our Gudiya.)
"Kaun hai woh?" (Who is the bridegroom?) Surprised Radharani asked.
"Ladka kamaata kitna hai?" (How much does the bridegroom earn?) Krishankant asked seriously.
"Ladka padha-likha, acche ghar kaa aur ek business tycoon hai!" (The boy is well educated, from a good family and a business tycoon!)
"Rishabh beta, apne maata-pitah ko ladke ka parichay toh dijiye." (Rishabh, at least introduce the boy to your parents.) Savitri Devi coaxed Rishabh.
"Ladke ka naam hai, MAAN SINGH KHURANA." (The boy's name is, MAAN SINGH KHURANA.) Arnav announced.
There was a complete pin drop silence for five minutes then cheers and smiles broke on faces of all elders who were congratulating one another. "Vicky, Nakul se kaho mithai laaye." (Vicky, ask Nakul to bring some sweets!) Savitri Devi ordered.
Radharani kissed Maan's forehead affectionately whispering, "Jamaai-sa hummein kshama kijiye aapko itni der intezaar karaane ke liye!" (Maan, I apologise for making you wait so long.) Krishankant hugged Maan affectionately whereas Maan touched Krishankant and Radharani's feet. Rishabh patted Maan's back affectionately, Yash, Arnav and Sid gave Maan a friendly brotherly hug but Veer hesistantly shook Maan's hand. But Maan pulled Veer close and gave him an affectionate brotherly hug whispering in his ear, "Now you are my brother like Vicky and not Agent 008!" In all this happiness and festivity only Neel stood out at a distance.
Sameera, Gauri, Meera and Geet were in a state of a shock unable to react when Rishabh announced about Geet's alliance. But when Geet's shocked trance was broken she said at a higher pitch than necessary, "MUJHE YEH RISHTA MANZOOR NAHI!" (I DON'T AGREE TO THIS MATRIMONIAL PROPOSAL!)
Immediately quitening down the joy and exuberance of two families.
"Kyun Gudiya? Maan mein sab gunn hain toh tum iss rishte is inkaar kyun kar rahi ho?" (Why Gudiya? Maan has all qualities as a husband and life partner, why are you refusing?) Rishabh enquired.
"Kyunki mere liye sacchai se bada kuch nahi?" (Because there is nothing more important for me than truth.)
"Arthaath?" (Meaning?) Neel spoke for the first time.
"Mere inkaar ke do kaaran hai." (There are two reasons for my refusal!)
"Kaunse do kaaran?" (What are the two reasons?) Radharani questioned.
Geet looked straight into Maan's eyes and said, "Pehla----YEH STREEYON KI IZZAT NAHI KARTE! " (First---- He doesn't respect women.)
"Tum yeh kaise keh sakti ho, Gudiya? Uss din Fire and Ice Club mein..." (How can you say that, Gudiya? That day at Fire and Ice Club, he...) Yash objected.
"Haan inhone meri izzat gundon se bacchai thee. Magar uski zarurat hi nahi padhti agar Arnav bhai-sa ne mujhe woh short dress nahi pehan ne ko kahaa hota." (Yes he saved my virtue. But his help would not have been required if Arnav would not have asked me to wear a short dress.) Rishabh and Neel glared at squirming Yash and Arnav. "Magar mai uski baat nahi kar rahi." (But I'm not talking about that incident.)
"Toh kaunsi sacchai?" (Then which truth?) Now Sid was also intrigued.
"Mr. Khurana, aap battayenge ki mai battaon?" (Mr. Khurana will you tell or should I tell?)
Maan narrated the whole truth about their semi marriage ceremony i.e. Maan filling Geet's maang and tieing mangalsutra around her neck. Shocking Rishabh, Neel, Yash, Arnav, Veer, Sid, Sameera, Gauri, Meera and Pari (who had just entered the room). Before Rishabh, Neel, Yash, Arnav, Veer and Sid could angrily pounce on Maan and a mayhem would result Geet continued, "Dusari---- MAI MAA BANNEWALI HOON!" (Second----I'M PREGNANT!) A lightening slap touched Geet's cheek.
"Geetika, tumhari himmat kaise hui aisi ashaleel harkat karne ki?" (Geetika, how dare you behave in such an obsene manner?)
"Bacche ka pitah kaun hai, beta?" (Who is the father of your unborn child?) Savitri Devi asked calmly, "MAAN?"
"NAHI!" (NO!)
"If it is that b*****d Karan I'll kill him with my bare hands." Rishabh said glaring at Arnav.
"Nahi Karan bhi nahi hai." (Not even Karan.)
"TOH WOH KAUN HAI?" (THEN WHO IS IT?) An icy cold voice of MSK spoke.
"Aap sab usse nahi jaante woh yahaan ka nahi hai." (You all don't know him as he is not from here.)
"Gudiya uska naam batta de hum usse teri shaadi karaa denge." (Gudiya, tell us his name, we will get you married.)Yash calmed himself and spoke.
"Bob ko iss rishte mein aur shaadi mein koi interest nahi hai. Bhai-sa, aap sabko meri chinta karne ki zarurat nahi hai. Maine apna itzaam kar liya hai." (Bob is neither interested in this relationship nor is he interested in marriage. Bhai-sa, you all don't worry! I have made arrangements for my self.)
"Accha hai ki tumne apna intezaam kar liya kyunki abb naa toh Rajsinghania parivaar mein aur naa hi Khurana parivaar mein tumhari koi jageh hai." (Good you have made arrangement for yourself as you are no longer welcomed in either Rajsinghania family or Khurana family.) Radharani spoke in anger and humiliation.
Geet gave a cynical smirk to Sameera, Gauri, Meera and Pari making them realise how correct Geet's assumption about her mother was. "Maa... (seeing Radharani's glare) Mrs. Rajsinghania, mujhe aap se yehi umeed thee." (Mrs. Rajsinghania, this is what I expected from you.)
"Gudiya, tum aise akele kaise rahogi? (Gudiya, how will you stay all alone?) Rishabh asked in worry.
"Waise hi jaise bahut ladkiyaan aur streeyaan rehti hain jinhei unke pati aur unke mangetar chhod dete hain." (Same way as many girls like me stay whose husband, fiance or boyfriend has left them.)
"Kya matlab hai tumhara?" (What do you mean?)
"Kyun Rishabh bhai-sa aapne Sameera bhabhi aur Ayush ko chhod nahi diya thaa ek rapist, Raghu ki jhooti baaton par?" (Why Rishabh bhai-sa? Didn't you leave Sameera bhabhi and Ayush by just bad mouthing of a rapist named Raghu?)
"Gudiya, tum..."(Gudiya, you...)
"Gudiya tum bhai-sa se kaise baat kar rahi ho?"(Gudiya, how are you talking so disrespectfully to bhai-sa?)
"Neel bhai-sa aapko koi haq nahi banta mujhe kuch bhi kehane kaa. Aapne bhi toh apne jhoote bhramchaari ke choule (garb) ke kaaran apni bachpan ki mangetar Gauri Shekhawat ko chhod diya. Apka dimaag Gauri didi ko bhale hi naa apnaaye magar aapke dil ne unhei kab ka apna liya. Kyunki agar aap unhei nahi apnate to Gauri didi ke hone yaa naa hone se aapko koi faraq nahi padhta. Kintu aapko faraq padhta hai iss liye jab woh apke paas hoti hain, aap atyadhik krodhit jo jaate hain. Rishabh bhai-sa aur Neel bhai-sa, aap dono ne ek baar bhi nahi socha ki aapke tiraskaar se samaaj mein Sameera bhabhi aur Gauri didi kaise jiyengi?" (Neel bhai-sa, you have no right to question me. You have also under the hollow garb of confirmed bachelorism rejected your childhood fiance, Gauri didi. Your brain may not accept Gauri didi your life partner but your heart does. Because if you did not accept Gauri didi as your life partner, her being there or not being there would not have affected you. But you are effected everytime she comes in front of you and thats why you yell at her. Rishabh bhai-sa and Neel bhai-sa, you never thought how will Sameera bhabhi and Gauri didi will manage to live all alone in this world and society after your rejection?)
Geet went near a chair where her bag was kept and pulled out a file and handed it to Rishabh who was still in trance saying,"Khair aap dono mere se bade hain aur apna bhala-bura jaante hain. Mai sirf aapko yeh DNA report dena chahti hoon jismein aapka aur Ayush ka DNA match karta hai." (Anyway you both are elder to me and understand what is best for you. I only want to give you this DNA report in which yours and Ayush's DNA has matched.)
"Matlab?" (Meaning?) Krishankant spoke for first time since Geet dropped the bombshell
"Bauji, Rishabh bhai-sa aur Ayush ka khoon meil khatta hai. Matlab, RISHABH BHAI-SA AYUSH KE PITAH HAIN!" (Father, Rishabh bhai-sa and Ayush's blood samples have matched. Meaning RISHABH BHAI-SA IS AYUSH's FATHER!)
Picking up her bag and things, Geet left the room with Sameera, Gauri, Meera and Pari. Leaving behind her a stunned and broken Rajsinghania and Khurana family.
