Epilogue
It was a normal night in iyer house for the senior iyers but for ishita it was the day she was waiting since long .Raman was finally coming back to India after completing his MS from New Zealand and ishita was just too happy about it.
She came out of the washroom humming a song and stand infront of the mirror.
Ishita-so Dr raman Kumar bhalla is finally coming back today.bahut intezaar karwaya aapne raman.but now u r coming back and i am going to receive u.finally I will see u after three long years and u will also see me.u will see how beautiful ur ishita has turned.saying so she took her phone and look at the wallpaper which has their pic of their last meet.
She settled on the bed and said-mera pyara Motu,jaldi se aa jao,ur ishita is dying to meet u, saying so she kissed his pic and start getting ready to pick him.she dressed herself in a beautiful blue anarkali ,wore danglers in her ear ,half clutched her hair .applied Kohl in her dark eyes along with a light shade of lipstick.finally she put a small bindi on her forehead and said-wow ishita,now u r looking beautiful for ur raman.saying so she smiled and took her bag and went out of her room.
Appa amma were having dinner when they saw ishita and amma said-come kanna,lets have ur food. Arey u r ready, r u going somewhere.
Ishita-yes amma,i am going out ,will have something out.saying so she took her car keys and ran out of the house. Amma tried to stop her but appa said-let her go, she is not a kid anymore. Doctor ban gayi hai. Let her live in her own way. Amma nodded and continued having their food.
After three hours, ishita was standing in the airport waiting anxiously for Raman.
Ishita-raman, Kahan ho aap. I am dying to see u. Mujhe dekhna hai aap kitne aur mote hue. Come soon naa baba. She was saying so herself when she heard, main toh yahin hoon, kisse dhoondh rahi ho tum.
She turn and saw a handsome boy was standing next to her wearing blue denim with black leather jacket over his crisp white shirt while glares was over his head and he was smiling looking at ishita.
Ishita gave him a whatever look and start searching ramab again.
Ishita-yeh motu Kahan reh gaya, for sure I am going to kill him for making me wait so long.
Boy-arey hum toh hai, kiska wait ho raha hai.
Ishita glared at him and said-listen gentleman, I am already committed.came here to pick my boyfriend. So please stop flirting. Saying so she turn murmuring, jisse aana chahiye woh nahi aayen, befaltu ke log pareshan kar rahe hai.
He smiled and said wounding his arms around her -jisse aana tha wahin aaya hai, bas tu pehchaan nahi paa rahi hai.
Ishita turned to him in anger and was about to say something when he said-itna toh nahi badal gaya madrasan ki tu mujhe pehchaan bhi nahi paa rahi.
Ishita looked at him with shocked eyes hearing madrasan from him. She scanned him from top to bottom and asked-aap mere Raman ho.
Raman smiled and said-pura ka pura ,sirf tera.
Ishita almost jumped on him and hugged him tight. Raman too hugged her tight closing his eyes.
They were standing in the same position when Raman realised wetness on his shirt. He broke the hug and look at her. Her eyes were moist.
Raman cupped her face and said wiping her tears-why u r crying baby, now I am here only.
Ishita hugged him tight and said-i missed so much raman. So so much.
Raman pecked her forehead and said-i too missed u baby.
Saying so he hugged her more into him. They stayed for long in same position observing each others presence around them.After a while they parted and made their way towards their house (ishra still are neighbors) in her car .Raman settled on wheels while Ishita just side hugged him . They reminish their memories of last 8years ,5 years together and 3 long years when he was away for him MS , now he has became a cardiologist.
Ishita made a dreaming face and spoke " Raman its 8 long years we are together ".
R- yeah ish, it has been eight years since we confessed our love .
I- you don't even know how much I missed you .
R- haan to what should I do ,I called you but you didn't come to me .
I-(making a puppy face )- I tried but amma appa didn't let me go .so I have to stay here only .Raman I think now we should tell our parents about us .
R- (making a shocked face )- aisa kyun ,what's so hurry .
I- what hurry ,amma is behind my marriage ,der karoge to koi le jaayega mujhe .don't say that you had made any girlfriend in newzealand .
R- madrasan you are doubting me .
I- nahi to , I m just asking .
R- nothing like that ,I was just saying that let's enjoy some chup chup ke romance for sometimes then we can tell to our parents .
I- nope Raman I can't wait now ,I want to shout and tell everybody that you are mine , this handsome young cardiologist is my man .
R- despo madrasan .
I- haan to jiska boyfriend itna handsome hoga wo to despo hogi hi .
Talking like this they reached their home .After confessing their love in the terrace eight years back ,ishra were together till Raman completed his MBBS .After completing his MBBS ,Raman went to new Zealand for his specialization .Though ishra were away in these years but their relationship is still fresh as earlier .
Ishita parked her car and both got down from the car ,they reached their home together ,then they bid good night to each other and went to their respective homes . Raman pressed the call bell and toshiji appeared with aarti thaal , she did his aarti and spoke pecking his temple " aa gaya mera puttar ,kitna badal gaya hai ,kitna sona lag raha hai ".
Mr bhalla - toshiji you will only talk in door or will let him enter the house .
T- oh aaja aaja puttar .
Raman bend and took their blessings ,while listening to the chores,senior Iyers too came out from the house ,actually they too were waiting for Raman but non knew that ishita has gone to pick him as he has told that he will come by own since its night time . Raman bend and took their blessing too.
A(shocked)- aiyoo murugan ,Raman you have become so handsome ,we have send a healthy raman and he has become so thin ,didn't you get enough food their .
T- I was not there na ,now he has come here ,I will make him yummy food for him and soon he will again become like earlier .
R- no ma I m nice like this ,ek to itni muskil se body banayi hai and you want me to be fatty Raman again .
Thry talked for sometimes and then Iyers went to their home .Next day morning amma has called bhalla's for breakfast as Raman has come .Amma has made Raman's fav payasam and vada which he loves most from amma .Soon bhalla's has arrived ,ishita was wearing a white chooridar suit with red chunri dupatta ,she was looking too fresh and pure as she has just taken bath . Toshiji saw her and spoke pecking her temple " kinni soni lag rahi hai ,kisi ki nazar na lage ". Saying so she put a black mark behind Ishita's ears .Ishita smiled fully and saw raman ,he winked at her and gave a air kiss to her ,she blushed on his act.
All settled in dining table while ishita was serving everybody ,ishita reached to raman and served him ,he made a lil place in his plate and signalled her towards it .She made a confused face ,he bring her closer and spoke " you too come in my plate ,you are looking too tempting feeling like eating you up ".
Ishita turned red listening to him and went from there ,blushing hard ,couldn't able composed her emotions ,she was blushing ,happy ,shy ,crying everything thinking that their love is still fresh and deep like earlier . After sometimes she went out when she heard her amma's voice and joined everybody sitting beside raman ,he held her hand under the table ,she glared at him while he was pretending to be innocent and was having his food in silence when amma spoke " toshi now both are ishu and raman are here ,we should talk to them ".
T- I m also thinking same .
Ishra looked at each other making a confusing face ,when Mr bhalla spoke " Raman puttar now you have completed your MS and is joining your job in few days ,we want you to settle in life ".
R- papa .
Mr bhalla - yes puttar we want you get married .
Mr iyer - and you too ishu . we want our kids to see settled in their life .
Ishra looked at each other and were confused ,they were thinking what their parents are talking about , are they talking about their marriage with each other or someone else ,Raman cleated his throat and spoke to clear " I don't get you point papa ."
Mr bhalla - Raman isme nahi samajhne ki kya baat hai ,we want ishita puttar to be our DIL .we were waiting for you to return so that we can get you two married asap .
Ishra got happy listening to this .
Raman opened his mouth to speak when toshiji interrupted " raman don't you tell that you have any girlfriend or you have married already because I won't accept anyone else as my DIL ."
Mr iyer - bhallaji ,bhabhi ji I want ishu and raman to talk for some times and decide ,actually I don't want to force him ,though we like our kids together but their consent for this marriage is necessary I don't want to force them .
Mr bhalla - I agree with iyer sahab . Raman why don't you take ishita for some outing ,in this time you people will get to know more about each other and can also decide that you are ready to marry or not .
Raman did a happy dance from inside but nodded calmly like a obedient kid. Soon after completing their bf ishra went together for their outing ,both settled in car and laughed aloud ,on themselves that how they pretended to be almost strangers and innocent in front their parents .
They had a nice time together ,enjoyed fully ,went to all the places they use to visit earlier ,went to their meeting place and restaurants were they spend most of the time together .They returned in the evening and agreed for marriage. Their parents got happy and congratulated each other .
Soon ishra marriage was fixed and they got married with all the rituals and grand celebration .Ishita was sitting in beautifully decorated bed waiting for her first night with her husband ,soon Raman entered the room and walked to her after bolting it .He removed ishitas veil and spoke " you are looking too beautiful ishita ,finally we got married ,after so many years we are together as each others soulmates ."
I- yes Raman its like dream come true ,I m still not believing it .
He bend and bites her cheek ,she moaned and spoke " ouch raman what's this ".
R- I made you believe that its not dreams .
she smiled and hided herself in him ,soon they lost themselves in each other abd celebrated their first night .
