I think Svetlana's face might be damaged at any incident (fire or acid). Did you notice that the man in that Dhaba and the father were in the state of shock instead of confused when they saw her face. May be she wears this mask with the help of her family to avenge Oberois.

It looks like there are three Svetlanas lol the deadlana, masklana and the photo one... photo one might be the masklana whose using dead Svetlana's ID to take revenge. It looks like her face is damaged that's why both the cook and father got scared seeing her real face. Dead Svetlana might be Tej's mistress... Mrs Kapoor's daughter
