Today we got the big reveal that Madhav is Atharv's son.
I think most of us here had guessed who Madhav was from the beginning of the leap, but now the audience has been told too.
The only question that most of us had been wondering was whether anyone else besides Vivi and Ravish knew the truth, and today we got our answer. Sujata, Uma, daadi and Bua daadi were all shocked to know that Atharv was the father.
Today belonged to Vividha the mother. Since the leap, the only person who can make Vivi smile or in fact feel anything is Madhav. And today, when she saw her son being wheeled into a hospital room, she was devastated. She tried telling Ravish that she felt someone had done something to her son, but Ravish told her not to believe in unseen things.
But when it comes to people she loves, Vividha becomes extra intuitive and extra vigilant. Like she did when baby Atharv had been in danger, her protective instinct comes to the surface. As she came home to pack some toys for Madhav, she noticed a black thread on his schoolbag and dark powder in his milk. And she straightaway thought back to all the times her son acted up when Suman was around.
A distraught Vivi tried to tell Ravish her fears. She asked him how he could explain Madhav's fear of Suman and how he fell sick everytime she was around. But an angry Ravish did not want to hear her accusations. His mother could never do such a thing. And he told her to rest.
I do understand that as a son, Ravish would not want to hear anything bad against his mother, however i do feel the way he just told Vivi to go and rest was insensitive. Here was a distraught mother who was logically putting forward her argument of why she felt Suman was the culprit, but he just dismissed her fears harshly.
But the Doctor had something else to tell everyone. He suspected Madhav of having some hereditary disease which needed to be checked against the father's DNA. And as Sujata told the Doctor to go ahead and take Ravish's blood, we got the bombshell that he was not the father.
Ravish knew that Vividha was pregnant before they were 'married'. On the day of her wedding to Atharv, Ravish had gone to her room to wish her well and Vividha told him that she would always be his friend. As he led her out of the room, Vivi felt dizzy and told him that she had been throwing up all day.
