I am not active on this forum. I watch Mere Apne only off and on. But i have been following it closely ever since Aabha shot her self dead. What seriously caught my eye was not only the powerful portrayl of Smriti and Vinod Khanna as the Lord couple but also the pure bonding of Shankar and Sanya...
I like Sanya for her sacrifices, her humanity and her guts to stand up for what she thinks is right. After her powerplay of bravery yesterday, she seems like the true Pandey daughter-in-law. Shame on Aditya for being such a coward- he definitely doesn't deserve a wife like Sanya. As for Shankar, i always felt taht he was the black sheep, the trouble-maker of the family.... but now, it seems as though he'll carry forward the torch and legacy of his bloodline and be his father's true successor. Shankar is not the one will run away from responsibilities. He has promised his brother to take care of the family, Sanya and her child. It almost seemed as though Aditya was leaving his position to be filled by his younger brother.
I am just getting these feelers that Shankar and Sanya are going to be together somehow - they already have this 'tuning'. Things may take a turn which may force Shankar and Sanya into wedlock.....and then, Aditya may return to reclaim his wife and child. Everything sounded so prophetic in yesterday's episode.
And lastly, somebody please erase that hair-lock obsessed Taiji from the surface of this planet.
