Badrinath Ki Dulhania has recorded the 16th highest Monday of all time. It might not be very high up the chart but if looked at films above it they are all far bigger films with all of them being at least double the cost of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. It was a holiday for Holi but majority of the other films which have high Monday's were also holidays. Badrinath Ki Dulhania may be a medium budget film but what sets its apart from other films of its ilk is that it has a wider reach which enables it get a bigger benefit of a holiday than others films of its size would do as they have potential in a few cities only. Honestly Holi was such a dabba holiday😆 the fact that in almost all the main circuits across India the multiplexes & single screens were close till 2-3 pm due to Holi despite all this such Monday collections are simply fab as its like earning 12 Cr in just about half shows of the day 👏

It's a holiday which has major festivity and celebrations going on.

Highest March grosser (since holi is in March every year) is Kapoor and Sons, Race and Queen. 😆
