Shivaay Singh Oberoi as a husband?

Has Shivaay been a good husband through out? Expect the fact he struggle for awhile to accept her as his wife but the forced marriage, manhandling and everything else been before marriage. They were hardly any manhandling if not no mahanding of him as Anika husband. For me he been a good husband to her despite the fact he had his Naam, khoon and kandani belief, he stood up for her many time supported her during Rudra roka issue and went against his own mother for her even when he had the "ONS" MU going on when Pinky went to slap Anika he didn't allow that. I don't know what future holds but so far Shivaay been a good husband to her.

What's your take on Shivaay as a husband?

I hardly comment on this forum, because honest opinions are rarely appreciated. But saw this and could not help responding. What is the definition of "Best husband" in your estimation?

Is it someone who even after forcing you to get married for his family honor, refuses to accept you as his wife? Publically announce someone else is his wife, and then give you divorce papers as a gift? Not to mention how he asked Annika to apologize to Tia and also threw her in the pool because she refused to.

Of course he stopped Pinky from slapping Annika right after their marriage got revealed. It's the least he could do after what he did to her. Not once did he say that he forced her. He let them all insult Annika. Only Om and Rudra found out the truth and exposed him.After he found out she didn't sleep with Daksh, and Daksh tried to kill her, only THEN he started treating her with some respect and started to take her side. Not sure if we have all been watching the same show?

I agree Shivaay is the BEST brother. He is not the best husband because it took so much for him to even accept or Admit that Annika was his wife. She was getting insulted daily because of this "No name" relationship. He is not the best Son either, coz he hardly even speaks to his parents, especially his Father. I love Shivaay as a Brother, but as a husband and even a son he has a lot of work to do!

Agree with what you said.

Shivaay may be doing things for Anika that make people go "awww Shivaay, you're so cute"... but honestly speaking, it hurts to see a girl like Anika who deserves so much love with a man who is taking so long to fully accept her.

Without a doubt Shivaay will one day become the "best husband". He's on the path to that title, but he's still FAR from that title.

Absolutely agree with u... He hasn't had an iota of regret for the forceful wedding... He hasn't yet stood up ever for sahil... He has always vent to the blackmail to protect his siblings while for no fault anika and sahil have been insulted left right and center... Infact ppl r going awww he declared her as his wife... Really... Even when he said anika. Meri biwi hai before that he let the insults keep coming... He thot about Priyanka.. Gosh priyanka ki pregnancy Agar Bahar aati toh uski izzat uchhalti... Dude that girl. If she is pregnant which he thinks she is... It's her own fault... So uski izzat uchhle toh usme galati Priyanka ko hi hai... But what has anika done that she is being insulted so much.. To save his family she agreed to his get married as he blackmailed her with her brother's life... It is she who has always been giving everything to us family with nothing in return... Not even anika tum. Meri biwi ho... He accepted her as wife when he was pushed to limit where there was no return... Not of his own free will... N ppl say he is good husband? When tia did so wrong with Anika without thinking he has always punished anika... Not once did he ask anika to punish tia... He decided for anika that he shud forgive tia... He is a good husband? Well he is far from it... Shivaay Is not even a husband... Coz husband wife relationship isn't a forced one... It had to be mutual... If he was a husband he wud hv asked anika whether she still. Wants to be in this marriage... It shud hv been her choice...

Sorry to say... If u think he is a good husband u do t know what marriage is supposed to be...

Shivaay has not even confessed his love for Anika though he says she is his strength & the most important person in his life. Husband, I doubt but definitely, he is the best brother.

Good husband?!

Hmmm not yet, he still has a long way to cover to reach there.

However we can't also ignore that the character which really have evolved the most in IB is also this character.

The SSO who was so arrogant, who treated everyone not upto his standards as dirt... Now he's not the same.

I agree that SSO only called anika as his biwi in dire circumstances, n this was the reason we got that last interaction between shivika, where Anika confessed n SSO was overwhelmed, humbled but couldn't reply at all.

SSO still has a long way to go, n this is the beauty of shivika's love story.

No1 is perfect. Neither are marriages easy n always fun for people
