That leaves only 2 options:
1. it is false and maybe a ploy to being down the Oberoi's for good because without Shivvay the Oberoi's have lost their 'Great Wall'. If Shivvay leaves I cannot see Rudy staying back and that means OM has lost his 2 greatest support and strengths. Saumya may stay back as we have heard that she will turn grey so now we have an Oberoi bahu working against them and Gauri working with them.
2. It is the truth and this is where Shivvay and Annika's past connects. Shivvay learns how to make his name and his identity as just Shivvay. And Ms. Gul has a lot to explain about this change in script ...lol

I am again reminded of the nagging remark by Ms. Gul "Shivvay will never accept Annika's past" ... hmmm! Maybe this is what it is leading to. The Oberoi's have destroyed Annika's Family and Shivvay uncovers that during this process.
He has already said that ,".. kyunke agar Annika ka dil toda toh Shivvay Singh Oberoi se bura koi nahi hoga" and "Tumhari Izzat ab meri Izzzat hai"
So if it does result in the Oberoi's causing her Families downfall I can see how he would not accept her past and try to make it right.
