RIP Nayab Subedar Sartaj Singh.
I still cannot believe this. Never before have I cried so much for a television show. The only person I'll blame for this is Sid sorry, Sadiq. Cannot call him Sid anymore.
Imaan, Sartaj, Nazneen, and Harleen were the ones I had always loved. For me Iman-Naz were the grown up, mature couple-turned-friends with a really cool relationship. Sartaj-Harleen, though grown up, we're the cute, baby couple for me. I always found them adorable and a bit of Romeo-Juliet kinda.
Could never connect to Sid/Sadiq-Afreen. They looked good together but agree or not, they were always shrewd. When Sid escaped(?) and returned to India, it was pretty evident that it was not as simple as it looked.
Thanks to his stupid humanity beliefs, we lost not just Sartaj but some other jawans too. Did Harleen deserve this? Did the family deserve this? Did the unborn child deserve this? Did the Khans deserve this? Did Sartaj and all the other martyrs deserve this? No.
Every bullet that injured Sartaj, hit me. I was pretty sure that a human could not have survived all those bullets but then hee did not die. That gave me a hope but the blast followed. I still did not lose hope as they did not show the body. An overdose of Indian TV shows made me think if there was gonna be a twist but the little biography at the end killed all hopes. Idk when I'll be able to kill this disappointment.
I salute Shobha for her tough decisions. No matter what, this man is her brother and Ik that Shobha would be really affected. I hope that Imaan gives Sadiq a tough death. Even if he realises his blunder, he does not deserve a simple sentence of being hanged.
I've always said that POW was one of the best shows Indian Televisor could offer but the conclusion is always gonna be incomplete without Sartaj.
RIP Sartaj. You're a hero.
