Things were changing for good, I was finally an accepted and acknowledged Oberoi bahu. Everyone had got to know about Ranveer's treacherous ways and Priyanka was saved from a forced unhealthy relation.
All these happenings helped in making Shivaay more sensible and grounded. We all were able to have our much lost family moments again. All the family members except Pinky aunty were showering their love on me, even Tej Uncle had started to acknowledge me!
But all hell broke loose when Kaamini aunty had called Shivaay for a word and he had came back panting to play that chip he got from Tia's Mom.
"Shivaay Singh Oberoi nachayaz hai, Shivu Shakti aur Pinky ka beta nahi hai" an old woman's voice loomed through our room. I saw Shivaay flinch and step back, he looked completely broken and vulnerable, I ran up to him and held him before he collapsed heavily on the floor.
Shivaay was illegitimate? I knew how obsessed he was with all naam, koon and kandaan. Although he had exempted me from all of the above qualities, I knew that he still held these beliefs deep in his heart.
Shivaay didn't utter a word post the realisation, he sat stoned staring at the wall and his hazels looked devoid of any emotion. I had no other alternative than to inform Om as no one else could convince Shivaay.
I walked up to Om's room, as soon as he saw the worried expression on my face he came running to me and held my hands. "Kya hua bhaabhi, sab teek hai na", he asked concerned.
I narrated the whole incident to him. He looked equaly horrified with it. As we turned to head towards Shivaay's room we saw Rudra at the door. The horrified expression in his eyes gave away that he had heard every word of our discussion.
