This whole series is very silly and its dragging the Ishbaaz story down too. Its totally unbelieve the Svtelana track. How can a secret room exist in Om room with a dead body in ice pack of which an outsider has acess and non of the family is aware of. And using of magic potion? come on give me a break? Useing prehistoric opera glasses for spying on Om and Rud?

Yes story is bad but IB had no brilliant story line so oh pls it is not dragging IB down like jo bhi ho blame on DBO ..Like ppl need to bash anything related to dbo kya .Story is bad IB had stupid stuff too

Both DBO and IB are down in the dumps right now ! if svetlana track is plain stupid , the kamini -daksh goulash is equally nonsensical! And agree with you , the creative team does seem to be high on something 😆

You guys need to stop and understand the concept of spin-offs. Ishqbaaaz and Dil Bole Oberoi dont have no consistency or continuation.

Ishqbaaaz is mainly Shivaay and Annika and the problems they face. Dil Bole Oberoi has Omkara and his story, the problems he face.

People are saying why Tej behaves sane in IB and like a jerk in DBO. His problem runs parallel to Om (Swethlana). If Sweth is in DBO, why should he be cold in IB?

Anyway- spin offs dont have to coordinate with their parent show. And in my POV, Ishqbaaaz and DBO got a better flow in the story line than many of SP's shows. Just think about it.

This story of Svetlana's face and killing the real Svet and keeping her body in a basement is far fetched. (Gul's previous show had a lot of crap like this so I am not surprised).

Having said that, I believe she came to live in this house assuming the identity of Svet and she said she heard about a "secret passage" through Dadi which has the entrance in Om's room. So she would have used it to store the body in said passage. It seems she needs some sort of DNA from the body to keep her face looking like the real Svetlana's. This girl is a Kapoor sister who took on someone else's identity to infiltrate the Oberois.

As for this dragging down IB? I don't see how. The two shows run as two separate entities. Not as an extension of the same show. Even still they try to sometimes match the timelines. But that is not necessary. You need to watch each show as it's own "entity" and it won't matter. The two shows are made to be watched independently of each other, not together. This means the audience can choose if they want to watch both, or just one, and it won't effect their knowledge of the storyline. I watch both the shows sometimes, and I don't find anything confusing about it. Tej in IB and DBO is not the same, as in DBO he is in his element with his own family and in IB he is mostly in public with many people watching him. He clearly won't act the same?

A spin-off is not supposed to be viewed as a part of the parent show, because it is merely based on some of the characters of a parent show. Not based ON the parent show. I have watched many spin off's so this is not an issue for me. But clearly a lot of people have not, so they struggle with the concept.

Well, the reason to stick around is for the people involved then. They have really multifaceted personalities that can be used wonderfully. As for IB and DBO, they are different and we cannot expect a logical connect between them, as I came to realize. Yes, Swet is taking over most of the screenspace and they are showing some wacky supernatural elements for TRPs, but beyond that it is still better than the other shows on SP.

Not supernatural elements because sp will not allow it is weird science fiction written by harneet. 🤣

This is not supernatural. That woman in the trunk is dead and this woman is extracting some DNA from her. So I agree, it's Sci-Fi, not supernatural! LOL.

I really wish they had not done this BS angle, coz it's just creepy. Before Svet was a supposed Gold digger who was out for revenge from the Oberois. I liked the character the way she was. Yes she is still that same character. But this assumed identity thing just made the whole thing so creepy.

My question is, was she impersonating Svet for the past 7 years or so while she was working for Tej, or did she only just start doing this killing the real Svet, so she can take her place in Tej's life and in Oberoi mansion? Is that why she was so ready to drop Tej for Omkara? Interesting idea, but I dont know if the writers think that far? LOL

May be real Svetlana was actually mistress of Tej. But remember rotilana nafratbaaz step and track. Suddenly they showed rotilana as sisters and ppl were like how.

So I think kapoor elder sister killed Svetlana and replace her by faking her persona.
