So first things first...Are they literally copying Gone Girl now??? Maya's expression when the nurse says that she's pregnant makes it look like she plans to use that nurse's pregnancy to her advantage. Is she planning to steal the nurses urine/blood to create a positive pregnancy test for herself that she will use at some point to frame Arjun like Amy Dunee or maybe to get Vandana to accept her coz of the child?? Or was the scene meant to sow the seeds of the idea of pregnancy in Maya's brain??..Maybe now she thinks a pregnancy will permanently tie Arjun to her.😕
We'll have to wait and see how this plays out.
Also did anyone else notice how Maya refers to herself in third person some times...Like in the scene with Jhanvi and Arjun after the water throwing incident she says that for the Nurse this is just a job, but for her this is her mom and then she says "Yeh Maya ki maa hain". It's like she is referring to 2 people. Then in the last scene yesterday she says "Kapade meri marzi ke, khana mere marzi ka, raaj tum karoge aur marzi meri hogi. Maya ka pyar tumhe zameen pe jannat dikhayega" (The clothes will be of my choice, the food will be of my choice, you will rule but on my terms, Maya's love will make you see heaven on earth). Again she refers to herself and then Maya as a third person.
Is she really referring to 2 people here i.e one is herself (the one in control) and the other one is Maya ( the one who is actually in love with Arjun) ? Is the MPD theory playing out? Is this a clue that there are 2 people involved??
I don't know if I am reading too much into this and if they just framed that dialogue that way for effect. But I was wondering if anyone else noticed this too?
