Gone Girl and the 'Other' Maya

So first things first...Are they literally copying Gone Girl now??? Maya's expression when the nurse says that she's pregnant makes it look like she plans to use that nurse's pregnancy to her advantage. Is she planning to steal the nurses urine/blood to create a positive pregnancy test for herself that she will use at some point to frame Arjun like Amy Dunee or maybe to get Vandana to accept her coz of the child?? Or was the scene meant to sow the seeds of the idea of pregnancy in Maya's brain??..Maybe now she thinks a pregnancy will permanently tie Arjun to her.😕

I think they are planning pregnancy track, in one of the articles I read Maya will be pregnant before leap and after leap they are introducing Maya and Arjun's baby. So they are gonna have a baby post leap

Yeah I noticed that too! She sometimes refers herself as a third person and this time when she said Maya ki ma.. even Arjun mocked her for referring herself as a third person

The ''blink and you miss'' consummation was squeezed in to play out the pregnancy track.. now her fainting in the precap just confirms that this is going to be Maya's next card.. I have a feeling she is going to fake it by tampering with the urine sample from the pregnant maid.. that's what happens in the movie too right? otherwise it too much of a co-incidence that she thinks of pregnancy after talking to the maid and next scene she gets pregnant..yes they consummated but that's not a guarantee we all know.. I am curious to know what Jhanvi knows about Arjun because everytime his name is mentioned she gets alarmed.. about that third person thing, I honestly did not think about it that way until you mentioned.. My understanding says that in MPD, the person is unaware of when he switches from one personality to another.,. it happens unintentionally.. in case of Maya its always intentional and well planned..in other words she knows exactly what she is doing.. for instance her pretense in front of Vandana.. even with Arjun she is not 100% transparent and honest.. and intentionally so..that's what I think..

Also guys... I suddenly remembered... when Ayaan tells over the ph 'koi toh chaiye jo humare naiya paar Kara sakey '...& Maya had a smile on her face hearing that. I am dead sure she's thinking of that pregnancy thing... only a baby can now make Vandy accept her as her DIL

Yes a pregnancy track seems to be on the way.. In fact post SR and the news of leap I had this feeling that they are planning a pregnancy track as we have seen Maya in different roles and next will be Maya the mother, who, unlike Jhanvi, will go to any extent to protect her child. Arjun seems to be Ashwin in the making minus the abuse.
