Just like TWMR was a feminism brand movie. It was not about feminism, but this type of movies (Movies standing on female star's shoulders) are marketed as "girl-power movie".. when the movie makes money credit goes to the female star... people praise the female star for holding the movie on her shoulders.

Oh that way... but wasn't Piku riding on AB and DP's shoulders? It was hardly DP movie alone.. Irfan, AB and DP all were equally important?

Big B's career was going through a rough patch when he acted in Piku. It was Piku's success that helped Big B gain momentum. Piku hit nahin hota.. toh Pink ko intne appreciations nahin milta.
Irrfan doesn't have a box-office pull in India. Marketing guys don't use Irrfan as a bait.
