aaahhh..dont remind🤢they broke my Mahi's house😡bad bad bad..n when india won the world cup they were the first persons to rectify😳

i'll say in india we have extreme emotions, ppl either love some1 or hate some1, they just dont ignore any1😆(right now the hate list is getting bigger for indian ppl..fact hai)

i know this kind of behaviour is wrong but still, indians r fanatics..not being harsh on any1 but seriously when at that time i came to know that my sweetu Mahi's house is broken......i was 100 times more angry than this > 😡

😆

but its a thing of past..

wateva a cricketor is doing, he shuld b answerable to ppl, not his family😳not at all..after all it is he who plays cricket, not his family

Personally, I have never ever backed those players burning indian players effigies and never will.

but i will like to say 1 thing to you-the fact that they burned dhoni and ponting's effigies shows they are NOT hypocrites😉they will be the 1st 2 criticise their own players! yet they will still criticise others if something unfair is done..this just shows they are fair

(although burning effigies are never a good option!)

just shows that indians are anything but hypocrites. if they criticse others they never forget to criticise themselves!:D

Ditto!

I was shocked when I came to know they were burning cricketer's effigies and stoning their houses. That's atrocious! It's done by overly fanatical people who take the word "passion" to completely unacceptable levels!

The same people will make temples in the name of Indian cricketer's names which kinda stupid as well...but that's India for you....extremists in the land of Gandhi and the Moderates...but then again on second you'll find all sorts of people in this vastly populated country...and the worst thing anyone can do is "generalize" over here😆😆

Yeah...we can criticize our own players and harshly at that....but physically harming the cricketers and their families is just....criminal IMO!
But yes, you can't accuse Indians of *not* criticizing it's own team!😉

Well....abusing Ponting's parents was wrong and completely pathetic...however since there's no way anyone can find out if it was Indians or Australians....pointing the blame wholly on all Indian fans is incorrect too. Some Aussies were completely mad at him too.
Anyway...it was a very low thing to do...and the people who did do it are just sad cases...

Agreed, parents should not be accused for all of this or involved in any possible way but hey hey hey..

don't feel sorry for him!🤢i dunno if u read the whole article but he CLEARLYYYY contradicts himself yet AGAIN by saying esrlier their team played in the right spirit but then admitting to staying on the pitch for too long and if that wasnt enough then also shoving his bat in anger...after 9 wrong decisions indians should be angry but look how calm they are and thats how you know they are indian!:D ganguly knew he wasnt out but he didnt go showing his anger by chucking his bat and running 2 the press!! after making such contradictory statements-unless he has a completelyyyyyy different meaning to 'sportsmanship' than the oxford dictionary..then I too have no sympathy for this man! do u all have any sympathy for darrel hair who was not allowed 2 umpire 4 ICC only countryu criky after he accused pak team of ball tampering?😉yep, thats what i thought! similarily, we indians have no sympathy for ponting who accused our player of racism which is wayy more serious IMO!

and to your point that he did all that he possibly could 4 his team-then i agree! because if an 'anything 2 win' attitude, excessive appealing, becoming a 4th umpire and sledging is all that he could do 4 his team then yes..i agree.

at the end of the day..truthfully..he can do wot he wants but he is sure 2 b kicked out if he doesnt come back 2 earth and he desperately needs 2 stop flying in the sky:)

peace out.

Agree word to word. Very well worded👏

I am deeply against what happened to his poor parents. They definitely didn't deserve that for they had no part to play in the whole affair and even just taking criticism to the level of personal abuse is pathetic...forget about familial abuse.

But, his parents' abuse does not make Ponting a saint. He still behaved like a bully and I have no sympathy for him at all (his parents matter is a whole different matter and should not be mixed with his own professional antics).

I agree with every word you have said. Infact, Ganguly had such a suspicious looking catch and yet even after he stood up to those bullies and that Bucknor, he was given...then he walked out gracefully.

In Ponting's case...he had no such suspicious looking catch at all and YET he stood on the pitch for quite a long while and was on the verge of arguing with the umpires.

And apart from that...there were too many other incidents in the Sydney match to count...appealing for grassed catches...calling people "***tards*", not even shaking hands at the end of the match, acting as "4th Umpires"....and so many more.

No, he's lost my respect along with his team...and sympathy is just impossible!
