Tapsee is a brilliant actress and she was so good in Pink. She deserve to be at least nominated for best actress award in FF. I hope she does well and go very far.

Coming to Parineeti, she herself is responsible for how her career is turning to be. She was the first choice of Piku but she rejected that movie for stupid movies like Kill Dil and Dawat e ishq. But I am glad that Deepika got Piku as Deepika was fabulous in the movie.

I agree! Deepika is more Piku than Pari..

She's a meh actress IMO. There were some parts of Pink where her emoting looked so artificial, it really took me out of it. ESP when her roommate was fab.

I miss Pari too... I was seriously rooting for her when she arrived. There is some charm, spunk about her. She'll go far... I think Alia kinda came in her way.

I could see her doing the UP or Highway characters with aplomb. She would have done Neerja very well too.

Alia and Sonam were lauded for those roles and I doubt Parineeti would have been able to play Neerja like Sonam. After all, the late Neerja's family felt a connection with Sonam they might not have felt with Parineeti.

Also whatever anyone says about Sonam, she's devoted about her work and always looks forward to improve herself.

Also Alia (who is Kjo's protg like Parineeti is Aditya's) is hardworking and ambitious. She always looks forward to doing movies that'll put her talent in the limelight. Deepika did Piku that Parineeti rejected for those reasons I guess and it paid.

Why did Parineeti reject Piku? Because she was hell bent on doing a movie with Saif (who didn't have the courtesy to tell her he wouldn't do it after all).
Why is Parineeti's career in this state? Because she was hell bent on doing glamourous and flowerpot roles like the one she did in Kill Dill. She wanted to be glamourous and not only that good actress, which I understand to some extent if she felt insecure.

The girl is lazy and self entitled, she was good in Ishaqzaade but there was room -a lot of it- for improvement both on her talent and her attitude.

Anyways, I hope MPB will be good seeing all the time they put in making this movie.

Tapsee is like Anushka Shetty...does silly films for fun as well as very interesting films. In Bollywood the good thing is she has connections with film-makers like Shoojit Sarkar and Neeraj Pandey who make small and interesting films. Hence she doesnt need to please people like YRF guys or Dharma guys.
