Her first movie in South won National Award. She had glorious run in South. Her Bollywood seems equally fascinating. Her Pink took her to Rashtrapati Bhavan and her next is with man with midas touch Akshay who seems to be a hit machine and Varun who is the best in new generation. What is secret of her success... 😳

Her accent makes her different from the rest for me.

Probably one of the very few actresses who can speak Hindi properly in films. She acts well, sometimes it misses the mark but the best thing is she doesn't overact.

i saw her in pink only. thought she was good but nothing great. bt she is pretty then what we currently have so hope she does well.

I liked her in pink, will see where she goes. Her plus point is that she is trying various new stuff instead of limiting herself to just glamour roles, so I'm looking forward to her future choices in films.

Wish parineeti took a leaf out of her book and started doing films instead of waiting for a perfect script to lend in her lap. She is seriously wasting her talent.

I miss Pari too... I was seriously rooting for her when she arrived. There is some charm, spunk about her. She'll go far... I think Alia kinda came in her way.

I could see her doing the UP or Highway characters with aplomb. She would have done Neerja very well too.

I agree that all the best roles somehow ended up going to alia due to KJO factor. But Pari herself is relying too much on YRF to get good films when she is not going to get any good projects from them anyways. She needs to reach out to outside directors and network instead of fearing she will somehow hurt her relations with YRF in the process. Everybody has to take a step out of that YRF/dharma bubble to succeed (barring alia since she has KJO).

She just needs take that first step and move forward. The girl has so much talent and has so much to give in terms of great performances, she is WASTING it all away. It sucks! As long as she stays with YRF, I'm afraid she is not going to do much and waste her time on ridiculous projects.

TBH, I always thought it was a matter of chance...

she was taken in Baby, jis mein there was a mind blowing fight scene - that put her in the limelight of "strong female" and wahan se her career was set on different trajectory and she seems to have grabbed the opportunity and broke free from all the glam-sham. Lets not forget the flowerpot roles she did before... She just grabbed the opportunities as they came her way.

Tapsee is a brilliant actress and she was so good in Pink. She deserve to be at least nominated for best actress award in FF. I hope she does well and go very far.

Coming to Parineeti, she herself is responsible for how her career is turning to be. She was the first choice of Piku but she rejected that movie for stupid movies like Kill Dil and Dawat e ishq. But I am glad that Deepika got Piku as Deepika was fabulous in the movie.
