He's going to begin shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai soon, but Salman Khan has already begun prepping for an untitled dance musical drama that will go on the floors after TZH. The actor is currently rehearsing at choreographer-director Remo D'Souza's Andheri studio with his assistants.

Khan essays the role of a father to a 13-year-old girl in the film, but "he will also play a professionally trained dancer," says Remo, and getting into shape for that, takes time. "Salman is building his core strength right now so as to build a supple and lean body. He needs to lose weight, become lithe and agile like dancers usually are. We haven't given him any hardcore dance steps yet, just the basic steps. He is undergoing training with my team. They are monitoring his diet and workout exercises. He is following it through. Each step requires a muscle for its movement and Salman is learning to use them accordingly."

Audience were in for a surprise when Remo D'Souza announced a dance venture with Salman Khan. While the superstar's moves have often turned iconic, Remo's forthcoming film will be in the lines of a dance drama - a genre rarely associated with Salman Khan. However, the actor has decided to give in his complete support and reportedly has already kick-started preparation for it even before starting his next film Tiger Zinda Hai.

Salman Khan will next shoot for Tiger Zinda Hai since he recently wrapped up Tubelight, after which he will focus on shooting for Remo D'Souza's film. However, before he gets into the grind for the action sequel, Salman, we hear has started his dance training along with his choreographer turned filmmaker at a suburban (Andheri) studio in Mumbai. Talking about it Remo, who had earlier mentioned that Salman Khan will play a professional dancer in his next, revealed that the actor is currently focusing on building his core strength to attain a lean body.

Besides the training, Salman Khan is also said to be a following a strict diet under the supervision of Remo's team. Adding that his team is also monitoring his workout exercises, Remo stated that Salman Khan is currently learning to use the muscle for each movement. Although the preps have started on full swing, Remo asserted that they will start shooting only after Salman Khan wraps up Tiger Zinda Hai and the director hopes to start the film this year. This film will also have Salman playing the role of a father to a 13 year old teen daughter.

Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger, stars Katrina Kaif and is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Produced under Yash Raj Films banner, the film is slated to release on December 22.

Salman Khan has started to learn various dance forms with Remo D'Souza and his team at a suburban studio in Mumbai.
The superstar has confirmed that he will be playing the character of a professional dancer, who is the father of a 13 year old daughter in director Remo D'Souza's next film. Khan is currently learning the basic dance forms before he flies abroad to shoot for Tiger Zinda Hai.

In an interview, Remo D'Souza confirmed the development sand said each step requires a muscular movement and Salman is training to use his muscles differently in this yet untitled film.
D'Souza is currently working on the screenplay of the film with his team of writers and is hoping to start shooting for the film from November this year. The hunt for a 13 year old girl to play Salman's daughter has already begun.
The film will be shot mostly in India and the makers are eyeing for an Eid 2018 release.
