I Totally understand the New Om!

After finally catching up on the shows i totally get this new OM. He is angry, so many people had let him down and he is just tired of being the good guy anymore. His girlfriend betrayed him with his father, his mother almost died and any sane person would be impacted by that. Some of the fans done like this new angry young man but even though i loved the old Om, it makes sense that he should change. Once in a while the old Om is seen but so far i am liking the show and can't wait to see how much our Om is going to evolve.

I too am liking the new changed avatar of Om.. An arrogant business Tycoon kind of attitude and looks..

Earlier he was a very generous person who had a kind heart and loved the people around him inspite of his troubled life.. But how can a person keep of wearing the mask of a smiling face when his inside was terribly wounded and had numerous scars which pains a lot even today.?

The circumstances around him made him a tougher person from outside.. But every attitude in him has been properly justified.. We know about his bitter past so can understand him..

Both are Oms are loved by his fans..😳

Even I can see the logic behind his change. He has a different attitude and a different way of presenting himself. He won't take any crap from anyone anymore. Not that he was necessarily doing that before. (Especially from his Dad). He was always blunt and cryptic with Tej. But with other people he was very laid back. But since his Mother's attempted suicide and all the fall out with Svetlana, he has become more cold and withdrawn. That "fun" side of Omkara is not seen as much.

Considering the situation he is trapped in, I don't see how he can be the same way he was before. That would make little to no sense. But I feel in "essentials" he is still very much the same. That is why despite hating Gauri thinking of her as a home wrecker, he helped her in that crucial moment. Even now, because ChulBul so called "saved" his Mom, he is trying to be extra nice to him. His weakness right now is his Mother, and Svetlana is making full use of that.

As long as they "retain" the old Om somewhere in there and show him to us once in away, we can be convinced he is still very much present. This new phase will continue for sometime, and I hope he strikes a happy medium between Omakara and OSO.

I think Om as a character is extremely interesting.. he has so many facets to him. Omkara is strong and dependable when it comes to his brothers, very weak when it comes to himself like his drug addiction and taking sleeping pills. He is poetic and gentle yet has a temper which surfaces time and again especially with his father.

I feel Om at this point is just pretending to make himself a stone coz he feels thats the only way he can be strong for his mother. He doesn't want to be his mothers weakness anymore he wants to be her strength.

I am intrugued to see how Gauri will break through thsi armour that he has built around himself and make him fall in love once again, make him trust once again (after Ridhima)

It would be very fascinating to see how Gauri break that armor he has build around himself. I am loving this shoe very much and i am Glad we have a show that focus on Om because Ishqbaaz was not doing that. He is my favorite character and i am glad i now get to see so much of him.
