Kasauti Zindagi Kay, which went on air in 2000, is coming to an end on January 14. During this period there have been three leaps, the last one of 20 years which introduced a new generation. And now with the show coming to an end, we asked the actors, who were part of this generation, as to what they have on hand post Kasauti.
Prerna Garewal (P2 –Kartika)
"After Kasauti I won't be without work. I will be doing the role of Naina in yet another Balaji show Kya Dill Mein Hain. The role is not similar to P2 as it has a modern touch. Besides this there are some good projects in the pipeline so let's see. Kasauti has been a nice journey for me. For the first time I was playing the lead though my role was very good in Kyunki as well."
Taara-Nidhi
"After Kasauti ends, I want to complete my Animation course. I had actually come from Kanpur for this so I will complete it while freelancing as a Graphic Designer as well. On the acting front, there are some offers for participating in reality shows but nothing has been finalized yet. Kasauti was a nice experience for me. My role of Taara had growth. Earlier I had played a tom boy and now my marriage sequence is happening."
Dhara-Wasna Ahmed
"I don't know as yet but I have full faith in the Balaji house. I'm very happy that I got such a huge break in Balaji. But in the mean time I will be giving my F.Y.B.Com from the Pune University."
Jwala-Praneeta Sahu
"After Kasauti, I will be joining yet another Balaji show Kuch Is Tarah. I'm going to play the parallel lead Sananya. I have also done one episodic role in Koi Jane Naa."
So, in the real sense, this will be a Kasauti of all young stars. Meanwhile, the lead actress Shewta Tiwari (Prerna Bajaj) will be concentrating on Bhojpuri films.
Besides Kasauti, another biggie Virrudh is also going off air on Jan 14.
