why did Sona call her father Dev Dixit?

I was racking my brains as why did she cal him Mr. Dixit.

I then realised when Suhana had called Dev. He mentioned Ms. Bose. But he was referring to Sonakshi. But I feel Suhana felt bad that he referred her with her surname.

So when suhana said mr. Dixit. He got the taste of his own medicine.

I don't think Soha is ready yet to call him papa..
Papa and dadi are rushing but as Sona said they need to give Soha time 🤔

Nope. Suhana is just a kid who is meeting her father after so many years. She is not trying to one up Dev by trying to hurt him

For me it was weird.

Uncle bhi bol sakti thi.but Mr Dixit?

We r Indian audience and generally we don't call our teachers or even strangers ko bhi Mr XYZ karke nahi bulate.

Her father is essentially a stranger to Soha. Being biologically related to Soha doesn't make Dev a parent. He is yet to earn that title "Papa"

I think Suhana addressed him as "Mr.Dixit" because that is how he has been addressed bu Bose family in front of her.. or may be that is how he was called by her mom - "Mr. Dev Dixit"
